I know it holds so much sentimental value and I can’t blame ya, I’d be riding that car til the wheels literally fall off too. 🥲 You’re doing amazing. I know people have a separate car category “car emergency” fund aside from the usual car maintenance if that makes sense. Glad to see you saving up now. Do your kids have a HYSA? 😊 Not shopping at all for Black Friday or cyber Monday..my immediate family prefers money 🧧 that’s it. Lol simple. Gladly I don’t have a Christmas fund. Less stress. I think for me it’s about “experiences” versus going broke over gifts now. I wanna do more things with my fam. ❄️☕️

Yes makes sense! I def need one lol come my “maintained required” light just turned on! So I’ll have to check that out next week 🙂 it’s been a little stress reliever knowing that I’m taking some accountability with money and really seeing where my priorities are falling. The kids HYSA is in fidelity accounts invested into index funds! How about you?? Also what type of places or trips will you take your family too? I love that idea!

⁠@@Hustleandflowscosame with fidelity ☺️ for now just within our city. Never a dull moment in sf there’s tons of things to do for fam fun time. Traveling isn’t happening anytime soon until I’m debt free and I have at least $10K 🥲 I just wanna be financially secure first. 🙏🏽 it hits different when ur traveling and debt free and u have ur emergency funded 😂😊 I removed my sinking funds for now so I can cash stuff for my top priorities only.

I just learned that fidelity has its own automatic high yield savings interest rate ! Which is awesome!! I love that actually!!! The fact you’re going to spend quality time with them making memories than spending on quality items. 💕 yesssss I’m rooting for you to save 10k and be debt free 🎉
