That downstairs area is actually so sick, possibly the coolest basement you've ever featured. So much potential. But, 1.5 million and no dishwasher? BRUH.

It's a higher-end building in a funky neighborhood. The sidewalk outdoor space is just too public for me, and I'd need to cover the huge window for privacy. The agent was cagy about the downstairs room. It's not a legal bedroom even though it was staged as such, though it functions nicely as a living area. The kitchen is just too small, and no dishwasher. For $1.5 million I'd want something more than a one-bedroom unit and without the afore-mentioned deficiencies.

Hey! Its not a rental. You can do anything you want with it. If you have the $1.5Mil to buy it, if you can't decide where to put a dishwasher, I'll bet you can find the $ to hire an architect and a plumbing contractor to decide for you.

For the price I agree the kitchen is small and a dishwasher is standard. Also the basement is not a legal bedroom but a nice space that’s why there’s only a half bath down there.

"Right here when you come in you have the kitchen..."--What kitchen? Did I miss it? OH! That snack counter... Nice looking place but not for $1.5M. This went wrong when the snack area had no dishwasher nor the must have beverage cooler. Then the full bath is on the main floor, but the bedroom (note the singular) is in the basement? For me, the layout is pretty poor. We've seen much better on this channel and in this price range. On another note, Jamin' was fun. I hope we see him again!

Honestly, the apartment is pretty dope as are the amenities (rooftop/deck, gym, etc) and it’s in a cool neighborhood. I used to hang out down around there all the time when I was living in NYC. That being said, I would not want that little outside area as well as (what seems like) floor to ceiling glass windows. Again from being a NYC native and hanging out down there often I just know that homeless and drunk people are going to be pissing/hanging out over there all the time.

Hey Cash!!! Do you even know the history of Alphabet City aka LES? Essex use to be the leatherbgarmetndistrict in the late 60's up into the mid 90's. That "old" sewing machine is a classic Singer sewing machine an homage to the booming textile business in the LES and Willi-B. Look up the "triangle factory fire". YES, OLD SCHOOL BUSHWICK, WILLIAMSBURG AND LES, WAS A BIG MELTING POT OF HISPANICS, JEWISH, IRISH AND ITALIANS. Love your show. I LIVE IN AN AWESOME RENT STAB. APT FOR 28 YEARS IN PELHAM PARKWAY. I had an even better view growing up in the "co-op" high-rise apartments by the Williamsburg Bridge; could see 'The Watchtower' neon sign across the East River from living room and the whole uptown/whole Empire State Building from bedrooms in the back. 2023, and those apartments are still not gentrified... yet? The tap water in NYC is the best, so cold and clean; NEVER had to buy bottled water or filtration system. Then again, git mugged a few times as a kid with what extremely little money I had. Did amass a great baseball card collection, plus NFL and Kiss cards... all disappeared in recent years as I went back to visit several time to see my aging mom. She said she never threw those out.

$1.5 million. Yep its a Serhant listing. Is it worth it? Not in my book. 1st of all I don't want to live on the street where everyone can look in & see what you have. Yes you can buy shades but then you have no real light coming in. That patio (Cash, come on, you know a balcony is above ground) is absolutely useless unless you want your furniture stolen. & the door doesn't seem like it's all that secure. The "kitchen", well at least it's not a hallway kitchen but it's just a wall kitchen. Only a 4 burner stove? No dishwasher? They went cheap with those Gagenau appliances. Oh but it does have a sink sprayer that we've seen in many other way cheaper places. Why they put a full bathroom on the main floor is beyond me if that 1 room is only an office & the sleeping area is downstairs where there's only a powder room. & the sleeping area is right with what they've made as a living room which makes me think of a studio apartment apartment. Thanks but no thanks. Serhant has many nicer places than this for that kind of money.

deceiving $1.5M.....roof view must be amazing on a clear night. For that price...the kitchen sucks especially ONE wall plug!!. You need a kitchen island (not for sitting) but just for counter space to work on & storage for food /appliances.....The place has a weird layout...basically a small one bedroom & all upstairs. Huge finished basement has NO LIGHT ...1/2 bath , W/D closet ......You can have a large home office & good size entertaining space downstairs ! Pretty sure the other condo apartments in the building are better planned. Guess you can park your car in the garage next door. That patio space is basically useless unless you wnat to put a garden outside of potted plants....Ground floor like that on the street a security system is needed.

This area is for the young, the hip, and the moneyed--LOL. I would tweak the layout a little. On the street level, I would eliminate the office, make the space bigger, and have that as a living room dining room area. Since the lower level is huge, I would carve out a space for an office and have a cool murphy bed so the space can be used for additional entertaining. Overall, I like the space.
