Thank you. My new watch arrived today. Within half an hour I was getting angry with its complicated functionality and was saying to myself “I will have to send it back for a refund.” I was expecting it to be like normal watches 😆😆. I have now managed to get it to show the correct time but I still can’t get it to show the correct day on the little hand. The date is set up correctly. I have watched your video 10 times today and I feel that I am slowly understanding the knowledge you are sharing. You deserve a share from Casio in my opinion. Thank you for your brilliant explanation. When I finally fully understand it without having to watch this video I will write another comment or reply to this one. Thanks once again from England 🤩

A day later and after watching your video 5 more times (the first 5 minutes of it) I now understand how to get the small hand to line up with the correct day. I wouldn’t know how to explain it apart from saying when you do the initial hand set, you are setting the small hand to be in the middle of the Sunday section (like a recalibration) and when you set the date the watch will move the little hand to the correct day based on the date. Keep watching the video about the watch people as you will soon get it. I will try and learn the extra features which I don’t really need

This video is the only one I found to describe a method to get the hand shift function to work. The instructions, and other sources say to press mode and light at the same time. Other videos on this watch don't demo the hand shift. They just mention it. Finally, someone explains how to do it. 6.40. Great job. Thanks.

Thanks for the video. Just got my GM2100 today and this video came in very handy as compared to reading the manual. On top of that the manual print is so small that I was having a hard time reading less trying to figure out what the tutorial in the manual. The GM2100 has the same config as the GA series.

This is a great video! I learned a lot about my watch.. I plan to be at wearing it little more often as it’s been on the shelf for several months. I needed a refresher on how to get the digi-date to show instead of the time. I have the metal CasiOak and it’s actually the mode button not start, so I think they did a slight change in this model. Still a great video!

Yep! Ridiculous actually. Any watch that takes five minutes to just set the time? Literally after trying to read a very poor instruction manual...at best...oh and then resorting to watching multiple KZbin video's. Mind you? Just to set the regular time, not useless features. Remains a deal breaker for me. Love the look of my watch, as it sits in the watch case, displaying the wrong time, never to be worn 24/7/365.

If you follow all the steps if should work. In the 'Hand Adjust' setting. No matter what day it is, move the day-hand to point on 'SU'=Sunday only. Good to go

Quartz movement (especially made by Casio) is much more reliable than any automatic or mechanical movement. Get this model to start your journey. You're gonna love it. Automatic could be your next purchase for a dressier look in the future.

Get both man. Both will offer lots of values. If you asked me, I'll always recommend G-Shock for it is known to last 10-20 years old even much longer. Lots of memories could be attached to it. That Casio is tough with that sapphire glass but could it lasts as long. Plus, I didn't work in formal/office environment at all, so I could basically wear whatever type of watch I want. haha Check your own lifestyle as well and decide which will fits better.

The steps are a bit out of order. Be sure when setting your timezone to first tap the mode button until it displays "TIME", not "WT". And THEN you press and hold "ADJUST" until it displays the time zones that you can cycle through with the start button. Once you've reached your time zone, tap the mode button, it will say "OFF" meaning, daylight savings time is off, press "START" to turn on if needed. Once the correct daylight savings time mode is selected, tap "MODE" to then adjust the seconds, minutes, hours, year and date.
