This is the best tutorial on how to setup and use the GA-2100. I got one a week ago and had no clue on how to calibrate the hands. Really useful to know how to get the hands out of the way of the display as well. The speed and detail of your tutorial is great!

This watch has arrived in my hands and I don't regret buying this watch at all. Honestly, this is the best watch I've ever owned. The first positive impression when I saw and wore this watch is that the design is very good and it fits my hand very well because the size is not too big but not too small either. Then my first negative impression was that it took me quite a while to look at this clock because the numerals on the watch were dark too. however, when I use it longer, I don't think this is too much of a problem because this watch has a light display.

Useful tip when you are in the world time zone mode, you do not have to wait until the city name finishes scrolling to display the time. You can skip this animation and display the time instantly by pressing the adjust button once. Another tip is if you accidentally click the mode button or are in a mode setting and you want to quickly go back to home without continuously pressing the mode button, you can press and hold the mode button to take you back to home quickly.

I just bought my first G-SHOCK, I got this same model in the video, thankyou soo much for this video, I would have never figured this watch out without your help.

A useful tip for the hand shift function: press the light button FIRST and then the MODE button. It's more effective than trying to do it simultaneously. Also, do exactly the same to return them to their regular position. There is no need to click the mode button, as this function works independently.

Hey there!! Greetings from the UK!! I've just purchased one of these watches, couldn't be happier with it. However, I simply couldn't have set it up without this tutorial. The instructions it came with do show you how to set up features on your watch, but not in the order that they need setting up in. I followed your tutorial down to the letter and you couldn't have explained it better. Thank you so much for saving me the time and effort that I would otherwise have to have put in to get it up and running. P. S I went for the A3 (green dial and hour markers) as I wanted a change from sleeker looking watches and was after more of a rugged watch, so this is my first G- SHOCK - I have a feeling that it won't be my last🤣!! I do have a quick question for you..I set up all of the features as you said, and I remember setting up the date, but how do I see it from my home screen without having to adjust anything? I tried pressing mode a few times- but ended up having to scroll through countries and reset my time too. Any help would be very much appreciated 👍

This is simple but can be a little tricky at first. I picked up both a ga2100 red and gab2100 blue. The Bluetooth and the higher quality buckle makes the newer version the best option for me. However the RED is only available in the older version.

check out 3:30 carefully. even you adjust the hands at 12:00 position, the space between right and left side is not equal. I have ga 2100 1adr. It has same problem. If you have this model, you can also realize this alignment problem when the minute hand at 45 position and some parts of dial. As I understand some products have this alignment problems and some doesn't have. It's a manufacture issue. However, it's obvious that ga 2100 serie is so cool and impressive. Thanks for the video.

Are there any difference with the Japanese model? I have a different model G shock from Japan. On that watch the Japanese version has multi band 6 sonic time keeping, but the USA version did not.

These watches are cool. I'm a wannabe mechanical watch snob,and can't wait to get my next metal Casioak. Bought the chrome/black resin and was immediately impressed. Gave 3 out as gifts. (Chrome/green,blak metal black resin,and the Gamer edtion) Bought the Chrome/Tan and capped it off with the gold Bluetooth joint. Casio better not release a metal blue themed job. I daily a Seiko SLA021. There are great for travel. I vacation in "hot spots" like Oakland and Detroit. Definitely not flossing "The Big Watch" in those locale.

Thanks for the video. It saves me a lot of time trying to understand what was written in the manual. Furthermore, been senior citizen, my eyes is no good for the very minute prints in the manual. The watch though beautiful, it is not suitable for old age eyes as the digital figures is way too small. I have to use a magnifier to do the adjustment. Very helpful video.

It would be so awesome to have a worldtime and hometime swap by the press of a button. I think I would go the way to set the HOMETIME to the country I currently visit and the world time to my hometown. THen, when I get back to my real hometown, I switch it back. So 2 switches for each vacation. Would be so good to have it like in the module 5689..
