YOU HAVE LITERALLY SAVED ME. I have been trying to get my calculator to stop my divisions going into scientific notation and just COULD NOT remember how to do it. Going back to college to do maths after 15 years. Thank you!!

Life saver.. had this calculator since 2002. Forgot how to use it but need it for statistics to get my degree. Much appreciated 🙏🏻🧮

Excellent calculator 👍 Great video too 👍 One more thing... The fraction 97/3 if you want it reduced (Shift) then (s-d) will reduce it for you 32 1/3

Kopsad: For finding out the roots of quadratic quations you can also try: Mode->5(EQN)->3 and plug in the coefficents. much faster than the formula and less chance of messing up

Thanks for the video. Very helpful and I didn't have to wait too long to get the answer I was looking for.

The S on the S To D key stands for source. So it's "source to decimal"

When I integrate and use "X" as the variable inside of my function, I come out with a syntax error. I noticed that the "dx" has a lower case x and I am entering in a capital. What can I do to fix this error? Thanks!

very nice for fighting vectors and polynomials in calc3/physics. I use it along with my ti84plus mostly b/c of radial simplication. very useful for linear analysis also, but the ti84 stomps on it for most stuff, ya this calculator flies low under the radar for semi new teachers where ti explicitly banned, don't expect seasoned professor to not check your gear though. I think there is a new version of this calc also thats the same price, then again this is an ancient video

For some reason when I multiply something be pi, it doesn't give me an answer. For example: 2pi and it gives me: 2pi. And when I try 2 x pi it gives me 2 pi
@GreenTornado6 жыл бұрын
Kabral Armah It's giving you the answer in something called exact form because there is no accurate way to write 2pi in decimal format (pi never ends). However, if you want the decimal approximation, press the S-D button.

Or you could just use the quadratic function already programed into the calculator... thx for the tips!

Does anyone know anywhere you can just read this sort of information? There are a billion of these videos and it's kinda frustrating having to watch every step. I know there are a lot of people who like videos, but even if someone who had a video also had a website you could read quickly and get out, that would be awesome!

@bmw2go11 It is not powerful enough? Back in the 70's and 80's engineers were using calculators that were a lot less capable than this one. For instance, the HP-35 and the TI-30. They only had basic scientific functions with only one memory and no root solving capability or imaginary numbers, simultaneous equations etc. and they worked just fine. They just didn't have calculators back then that did everything for them. They had to use their brains.
