Wicked nice conversion. Now your G-Shock looks pimpin' like Shock G. :) I'd suggest pinching the clip for your satisfactory "click" sound, like you did at 08:30. Sometimes the mechanism gets bent or a bit crooked and doesn't line up perfectly. I don't have that conversion kit, but have had a few watches with that type of band. Thank you for sharing. I notice that the watch spring bar, the ones that attaches the watch strap to the housing, is linked to the plastic parts. I wonder how well the housing will be able to handle the day to day movement of the watch and not break as the weight of the watch would have increased significantly. Could you share how your watch is doing so far after this upgrade ? Thanks bro

Actually it's not much of a difference. The connectors are rather rigid at the sides of the bezel / face so it doesn't swivel as much. The watch is still perfectly fine - haven't had a single issue with it yet.

Sweet new watch strap! I like it a lot. I wish i could wear the link style straps but they tend to rip out my arm hairs so its quite painful/annoying :(

@@hoongfu Link straps rip out arm hairs too, for me - but i felt that if I sized it "right" it really reduces the amount of missing hairs. hahahahahahahahaha and yeah I read that this particular series of double-straps was targetted at snowboarders, since it's not just super secure, but it's also very bright so it helps with visibility.
