Personally, I will wash mine before doing the battery! Just in case I break it's water sealing properties... So what do others say is the "correct" way to clean them?

i think imma get one of these, they say 2 years, and in your case it was able to work for 7 years, casio gshocks are surely worth it

the benchmark of if everything goes well, for the gshock is 10 years of runtime, so using the backlight of the watch probably influences this a lot.

Im confused between the solar version and this one, but I'm more inclined towards solar version but this negative display is beautiful, I don't want to buy this because it has only 2 years of battery ( they say) and after opening the case I think it will lose its water resisting capability. So what do you Suggest me?

My battery lasted for 6-7 years if I'm not remembering wrong but there are for example DW-H5600MB-1ER which has the negative display and solar power.

So strange to see the side with the locking mechanism on the bottom and not on top. Did you switch them or it came this way? Update: lol, yes now I understand :) at least you'll know I watched till the end.

What is the tightening torque NM that you gave to the 4 screws on the watch cover, to avoid damaging the screws and their thread?
