Thanks EL, the shame is I wasn't into the orange at that time. Over time I have developed a taste for it, but sold the watch years ago. Coming soon though, I'll be reviewing my Omega Planet Ocean with the black bezel and orange numbers and 15 second bezel. Love it!

i have this watch for about 4 months now.i love it. the needles glow in the dark,the multiple three lettered crown around the dial are the different time zones to set.you can set it at auto adjust, i think you hold the A button for 3 seconds and it will hang to R as in ready.As trackstar mentioned you must be in a open area. hold the 12 upwards.the second hand will then go to Y if it recieved the signal and it will keep auto adjusting ever so often. N if it was unsuccessful.then use manual mode

Best watch I have ever owned. Setting it up is easy if you're patient. Having the multiband six is a huge advantage. Always has perfect time. I live in Missouri and I pick up the signal from Fort Collins every night in my basement. I strongly recommend this watch. The Time Store on Amazon has it for a good price. Also check out the GW3000-BB-1A which has the black face.

excellent review! I have just bought this watch and it is the best G-Shock yet in my opinion (I have several) ; however it is notoriously difficult to set up. Don't let this put you buying; but it took me almost 2 hours and a half dozen reads of the manual to set it up from the box. Patience is the key!

All round the watch around the inside you will see the numbers 10 - 20 -30 all the way upto 90.....what does this stand for?

I like that it has the alignment feature, one of my biggest quirks with watches is seeing the second hand miss its marks.

How do you find the battery level?

The power level can be determined by the second hand. If it is moving normal in 1 second intervals, power is good. If it moves in 2 second intervals, power is low, and need to get it in sunlight to charge it.

@rumvodkaf1 The chronograph is a 60 minute chronograph. The top right hand circle is the seconds and minute hand(there are two hands) and the main long hand is the 1/100th second hand.

I need to fix the 24 hour hand on the six o’clock dial. It’s off by 12 hours. How do I fix it?

Have you gotten it to synch with the atomic tower? If not, try adjusting the time by 12 hours, may just be setting it 12 hours off.

I own tons of G Shock watches and many Rolex watches but truth is G Shock are more precise, accurate and durable. I also have this one in the video. I like the size and the two prong-buckle band. Nice watch you can wear at any occasion and with almost anything. Good for men and for women. Nice gadget

@Phil Latio yes it does, the movement of the second hand tells you the battery level, one second intervals is high, if it is moving every two seconds, it's on medium.

Great review. Yours was my favorite out of all the others. I really like the look of this watch. Don’t like that it DOES NOT have a light for illuminating during night viewing. Do you know if there is an upgraded version of this watch. Other reviews state this watch is over 10 years old. I would like to compare to the newer version. Bluetooth functionality is a wonderful feature with th newer Casios and Pro trek. I love the orange numeration with the black case. I’m hoping Casio made a newer version with a light. Thx.

I have several rather expensive1k plus watches which are mostly 52mm Russian Diver watches. I live them but they are not too comfortable. I am definately ordering this watch when I get paid next Month.:) I do have somewhat small wrists but I am a pretty big bulky guy so I pull it off. Either way if a watch looks good I can care less what people say anyways. This watch looks simple, comfortable, and very rich considering the cheaper price when compared to my other watches. I know I will love this

I would say Aviation style. It's like the Frogman, typically a diver is going down with a full computer on their wrist. This watch was "Tested for G-Force" the Frog is ISO Certified....it's serving a niche market.
