I had an HT6000 in the early 90s, traded it in for an SY55 (which I still have). I think a lot of people like me were keen to jump on the "realism" of sampled sounds and synths that actually sounded like synths became a lot less in demand- you could pick analogue especially lesser brand gear for giveaway prices then.
