I need finding the crtical t value using the FX99ms calculators.so can u explain how to finding that
@quantquill25 күн бұрын
@@SiloZOMG I don't have a Casio FX991MS (you mentioned 99MS but I think it should be 991?), and I'm not familiar with it. However, I did a quick search to learn more and checked the manual. It looks like this may be a scientific calculator with limited stats function. I didn't see a way to find t critical using it. I'm sorry not to be able to help.

Yes it is FX991 MS Calculator .thank for replying 💚

Do you know if the Casio fx-991EX have the T-distribution calculators? like Tcdf, inverseT? Been searching everywhere but no one seems to have the answer and im starting to think if it just doesn't have the function TT

I don't have this version, but on Casio's website, their manual is at www.casio.com/content/dam/casio/global/support/manuals/calculators/pdf/004-en/f/fx-570_991EX_EN.pdf, and it looks like they have only the normal cdf, binomial and Poisson. I'm not seeing the t distribution. However, you might read through more carefully than I did, and see if you find it. Sorry I couldn't be more help!

@@melron1018 were you able to find it on the Casio fx-991EX? I have been looking for it too
@melron1018 Жыл бұрын
@@dheepanshusukhija1 I was unable to find it, I just needed confirmation that there is no such function on the calculator, which was driving me insane. With that confirmed, I just used StatCrunch included with Pearson while I was taking my stats class.

Dan, you can use the t interval function as a workaround. Stephanie Glen has a video on how to do this in the TI-83 here kzbin.info/www/bejne/bYfXnqGlja9nY5I. In the Casio, go to the Intr menu, choose t, 1-S, and then set to Var. The confidence level depends on your alpha, if you're running a hypothesis test and need critical value for it. For example, if you have a one-tailed test, then the conf level is 1-(2*alpha). If you have a two-tailed test, use 1-alpha. Set xbar to 0. sx (standard deviation of the sample) is sqrt(df+1). n = df+1. Execute. The calculator returns the upper and lower tailed t critical values. For a left-tailed test, use the negative t. For a right-tailed, use positive. For a two-tailed use both. If you're actually running a confidence interval and you've been asked to specify the critical value, then your confidence level is given.
