The King looks 100x better on your wrist. I don’t understand why some men freak out at the size of it, visually small watches look ugly on a mans wrist. It’s lightweight too so that’s even better. Certainly lighter than my Garmin GPS watch. That’s being said, I’ll be picking one up, can’t beat a solar watch at this price, especially a Casio.

I wear my GX56BB every day lol. I have tiny wrists, but I’m in the Army so we need watches we can beat the piss out of.

A viking cuff that tells time that's manly . I was considering the 5600 but being 6'2" with a 8" wrist the king would suit me better . Good video .

Hi mate. It doesn't look too big to me. I have the Gold JDM GXW-56 and a smaller wrist than you :) I personally think that larger watches have more presence. My absolute favourite is the GPW-2000. Gorgeous. Thanks for the great review.

I'm evaluating one of these at the moment before making a decision whether to keep or send back. I have the same size wrist and initially I thought it looked a bit comical but now I'm warming to it. I like it's over engineering and the solar feature and the negative screen is better than average. I'll never be in a position to test the full extent of it's durability but in the event of a zombie apocalypse this would be my perfect watch.🙂

I'm really interested in purchasing this watch, especially as i have nearly a 8 inch wrist, and I already own a mudmaster, but wanted something even bigger!! Lol ,but having owned some of the biggest Invicta watches,I find myself needing something i can wear for everything especially in the gym, and the idea of this being One of the toughest watches that exists and being solar powered, well I just have to now own one.

The watch looks perfect on your wrist. The regular gshock was way to small on you.

8.25" wrist here and I rock the King, GWX variant, daily. Standard g looks too small on my wrist.

Well done Fella. Good vid. Completely agree the standard 5600 is THE perfect square.

Power saving is the coolest feature g shocks have and if you add tough solar wow! Gets better I see you went further with atomic hour version so you can forget about wasting time adjusting it. Good purchase congrats!

Just bought one today just for heck of it as it is so cheap now...64 quid from John Lewis. Everynow and again I just like to wear something that push my limits.

Just to point out... That GX56 looks better on your wrist than the 5600. The 5600 looks too small. I have a GD350, bought a 5600 and after one day I sold it... Felt way too small

My 56bb is runnng at +- 5s / month . BTW i though that your wrist looks huge on the video then noticed you are using 3rd hole from the top. Im on 4th hole from the end of the bracelet.

Too massive, bulky and horrid for me, but I understand the "fashion" appeal. Maybe I could buy one just for fun and then sell it or give it away.

Thanks for your video. I'm wondering what you think--with calipers, my wrist is 55 mm when seen straight on from above. Is the King gonna embarrass me or can I rock it?

I was a little disappointed when I believed that they've kept the small digits of the original squares. Imagine now that I've found out that they're even smaller on this big guy!
