I have the white dial version as my work beater watch. 5 years in automotive and out in the elements. It's on its 2nd battery and 3rd replacement strap. The battery and strap changes are easily done. It runs -5 every 2 weeks. The glass/crystal is heavily scratched from use, but no cracks from impacts. The resin case looks and feels brittle from 5 years of UV, weather and chemical exposure. My watch has a resin fractured stretching across the lug width, but still strong to hold the spring bar in place. The friction rotating bezel is such a helpful feature to time my lunch break and the white paint in the numbers hasn't chipped or rubbed off. The hour and minute hands have very weak lume. The weak lume is OK for a daytime job. I wear bifocals, it's easy to tell time and date. 50mm fits alright on my 7.5 inch wrist. It's a great $30 USD work watch. It earns the money to buy my mechanical watches. It's maybe a cheap Casio but it has a lot of sentimental value to me.

You can easily buff out most scratches with just your finger, a clean cloth and a tube of PolyWatch ($8,-). I have a beater MRW-200H-7BV that gets a crystal buff every now and then, works wonders.
