A good way to cut the corners of a nylon strap to fit these lugs is with a wood chisel. Heat the tip with a flame, then press it into the strap and you'll get a nice, clean notch.

Yea, and after you make the corner cuts very lightly burn the cuts so the sewn material doesnt unravel. I have had great luck with "Jays and Kays" metal lug adapters from ebay that change the watches lug width to 22mm or other sized maybe, but so far I dont know if they come in many colors except anodized black, but the quality is high. I have a Casio 217H and 800H that look fantastic with this minimally visual metal lug adapters and 22mm bands.

I believe so. I'm not 100% certain to be honest, and this is definitely not the correct adapter for this watch.

Just search frabric or Nylon 20mm strap. But wait a week or so as I have another video soon with some cool 18mm adapters coming.

18 is a pretty standard size

Hi - its a 22mm strap. I quite like the look of the fabric/Nato style straps but not when they are too narrow. BUt trying to trim a cheap strap like this to make it neatly fit in the lugs is not easy. Here's an instagram pic of the same strap (in black) on an AE1200 instagram.com/p/CD9C7H9DSKO/
