Unlike djokovic who never even touched a speed , Ruud uses a dr 100 extended which is in the same line he actually promotes.

Indeed! And it's a racket Yonex sells (newer version) compared to Novaks racket. Speed only exists as 100" but Novaks racket is 95".. Even more silly is Head Boom. Musetti and Gauf is the face of Head Boom. Musetti uses Head Extreme Tour painted as Boom, and Gauff uses a Head Speed painted as Boom..

I have nothing in common with a professional men’s tennis pro 😂😂😂. That is wild. I thought they changed racquets cuz they enjoyed fresh grips more than anything.

@@chevy4x466the pros are very sensitive to seeing tension too. Even me as a mostly recreational player I notice that my strings noticeably lose tension after 2 or 3 practice sessions about 3 hours or so of play time. And pros are hitting much more frequently and rallying a lot more with bigger serves, so 1 set is about right for a racket before they notice tension loss and change rackets.
@Jarek1749
@Jarek1749 21 күн бұрын
Me, decent amateur. Never longer than 2,5 hrs, usually about 2 hrs, sometimes 1,5 hrs. Rarely serving. It really depends on string itself, string setup (thickness, tension), string pattern, amount of spin and partners’ style. For pro player any result is possible.

I could see why he chooses the Poly Tour Spin, I actually prefer it over the Rev. I found Poly Tour Spin to be pretty firm, but actually feels pretty crisp; low powered but I think the Poly Tour Pro helps in the crosses. Troy, TW

I hear you, but a couple of things…. 1. ATP guys rarely change equipment. 2. Ruud has had an excellent career and is playing great this year. 3. Strings are very subjective. I am guessing you like Rev, but there are plenty that don’t including myself.

Maybe you guys are correct however I'll still stand with what I've said before I see ex 400 players hit and rarely see them break a string in 2h I'mnot saying they are ruuds standard but believe you me they hit a very very big ball and the only time id see somebody go through a string in that time would be a gut in mains. I'm still sure he means breaks them in so they loose tension enough for him to feel conscious of his shots but maybe you guys are correct. I won't believe it until I see it lets put it that way no disrespect towards you whatsoever :)

poly tour string is the most strong string, hard to break, but him racket is 100, and tension 24kg, so its get fragile. Manarino never break.
