Cass Elliot had one of the greatest voices in music history. She COULD SING. Hey kids ... now you know what real talent is. Your grandparents listened to this, drove GTs, spent 25 cents for a gallon of gas, had no worries and those 13 TV channels had more than the 200 or 300 channels have today. Those were great times.

Just your opinion. People on youtube say that about all there favorite singers or groups. In any event, it won't save your soul on judgement day. Jesus Christ already paid the price on cross for our sins. You can't sing for your salvation or be a hero either. It is a free gift from God through Jesus Christ.

My name is Keith and I am a 74yrs old Scot who has loved this lady since the moment I first heard her singing way back in the 60's and it may sound stupid but I miss her more and more as I near the end of my life. I love all kind of music but as far as I am concerned there will never, ever be another singer like Cass Elliot and I am dreading the 29th of July 2024 because it will be the 50th anniversary of her death and I will be absolutely broken hearted and I'm not ashamed to admit it - R.I.P. Cass 😢💔🙏

@@ferociouswaffle8484 Obesity often leads to high blood pressure, diabetes, and heart disease. Being 100 pounds overweight at her age reduces your lifespan by an average of nineteen years. Even more harmful in her era were many of the diet drugs available, many of which had a high incidence of heart attacks associated with them. Between her attempts to lose weight via diet drugs (as versus diet and exercise) and her obesity, it was a sad and tragic but not unexpected thing for her to die of a heart attack.
@badtux4 жыл бұрын
@@ferociouswaffle8484 The diet pills of that era were evil. They probably caused more heart attacks than obesity ever would have. They're all banned today, of course. I have little doubt that the fast diet-pill-assisted weight loss was primary cause of the fatal heart attack.
