Agreed, but it's one of the things Cass is known for and they're good at playing with the whistle and making a unique sound... It's the ones that just constantly blow the same 4 note grade crossing sequence 35 times in a row that get on my nerves. Trains blow their whistles for crossings... they _don't_ blow their whistles for every single individual person, songbird and rabbit that wanders somewhat near the tracks, some engineers need to learn the difference.
