My hair is quite curly. If it is cut into short layers i look like a Dandelion gone to seed. I find bluntly cut, long layers work best for me. We all have our preferences and what might look good for your hair type could look horrible for another hair type. The most important thing is to over-explain what you want, with photos, and ask your stylist if your hair will look good with that style.
