IT IS true Jamaica and Belieze do have the Same Accent thats when your Not Jamaican living in Belieze. I Love cassava especial Bamme thats from Jamaica. Like you I make mein with Soaked Fruits Prunes Raisen in Port Wine, Just Like when you make Plumpudding

My mother use to make the best yuca pone I would love it so much. She would make it the hard way and it was amazing. I would beg her to make it all the time. I miss her so much 😢

Do you think cassava flour would work? Do you think I'd have to add extra milk to compensate?

I’ve never tried that before but cassava flour is very starchy and I believe would need extra milk but I’m not sure if you’ll hav the same texture because there’s no pulp either just the starch. If you try it , please let me know how it turns out.

i never understatement why the cassava can’t be boiled first instead of laborious Hand Gratering!!

I believe that it will have a completely different texture. The starch from the raw cassava allows it to firm up. However, you can blend the cassava for easier preparation.
