I call that style the Magpie Style-because like ravens they collect, and add bits and bobs on their expensive purses-some shiny some not-and stickers are the worst, it’s ridiculous and funny 😂. The tights are reminiscent of Edie Sedgwick, it was “cool” when she wore a t-shirt or sweater with tights and shoes and everyone needs or wants to be iconic. The barrel jeans? Forgetaboutit! Interesting choice indeed! 😂 I love how silly fashion can be-a never ending source of amusement to me.🤣

Coach and Michael Kors have been using bag charms for years. They never used them in the tacky way some people are using them. People have taken the use of bag charms to a whole different level and some of it is just plain tacky.

I think one or two bag charms are enough. The fun starts when considering how to mix them. I like to mix a leather charm with a metal initial charm, or a soft fluffy charm with a chain, or with the cherry charm, etc. I'm looking for a cute woven straw charm for spring. I'm also thinking about crafting a creation of my own. Hmmm .... maybe a denim charm!

The explosion in price for said charms is the bit that i find worrying. I've only got one which i bought in 2018 from the Prada comics collections and if my memory serves me right it was around the 150 euros mark in the Paris store. I have to admit that I have always wanted a pair of Tabis. I used to love the Nike Rift sneaker that had the split toe, and I always found them very comfortable and was bummed when they discontinued them. I would take any pair of Tabis, but the ankle boot is probably my first choice.

The copy and paste between brands is so annoying. They are out there complaining and suing and sometimes “borrowing” from smaller designers’ designs but it’s OKAY when they do it within their “luxury” brand families because at the end of the day they are all owned by the same giant corporation. It’s very frustrating to see that smaller brands have to compete on innovation only to have their designs be borrowed but if any small brands dare to borrow from the big brands, best believe a cease and desist letter is coming their way.
