Great video it really explains a lot. I tried to publish from printify to Etsy and it didn’t work. Not sure if it’s because I deleted the listing on Etsy onboard before publishing one from Printify.

I’ve heard two different opinions on how often to create listings on Etsy: some say that creating as many listings as quickly as possible is beneficial for your shop, while others suggest that posting just one listing per day is more effective. Based on your experience, how often should you create listings on Etsy?

Hi Cassiy. Thank you for sharing so much! Sometimes I have trouble when I get to the end and I don’t know how much an item weighs. I look up how much a T-shirt, mug, pillow, tote, ect weighs. I’m always estimating. Is there a somewhere where it shows exactly how much your item weighs on Printify?

Cassiy, do you have any info on how buyers pick specific shirt types? Are the buyers looking for specific shirt material and MFGs and that's why those sell best? Or is it more because the designer already pushed the better shirt types and it's actually the design that elevates those specific shirt types or MFG sales?

No they don’t require a photo, typically they ask you to wait 7 days for the item to potentially show up and might ask you to have them check with neighbors/post office but they don’t require proof of that either and then they’ll send a replacement/refund

You can use their fonts because they give their users a non-exclusive license to use their stock content 😊

Do they adjust the design size for the different size shirts you offer or do you have to create a design/listing for each size shirt? Great video!❤

The automatically adjust the design smaller or bigger for the other sizes, you design on a size large and then it will adjust it from there!

Cassiy, do you use Swift POD or mainly Monster Digital? I need to switch over because I’m scared Swift POD May not be able to keep up during the holidays, but in your product sample videos, they make a good print and sometimes better quality than Monster Digital. I don’t really feel like I know how to explain Etsy processing, Printify processing and shipping times 🤦🏻‍♀️ Also, if you set a printing profile, can customers still choose to pay extra for express shipping?

Yeah, because of the "seller pays upfront" when using Etsy & Online PoD Product Providers, I decided to not sell PoD on Etsy.

When we need to take pictures of the items, we order them as samples right? We have to pay for them? Is their any other way to get them for free or is this the only way? And do you prefer pics of actual items or mockups?

I have only ever purchased mockups for my business, there are so many great photographers that take these photos and sell them on Etsy that I really think that is best way to go honestly!

Without putting good money in ads is difficult customers to find you. Also the products cost, etsy cost etc leave very low margins. This is my experience with pod..of course some people want to pay for ads..

I just had a problem with printify not printing the back design of the shirt. It was my first sale with front/back designs. Customer got the shirt and now wants a refund because the back design was not printed. I’m now a bit sketched about selling front/back designs, I’m a bit nervous about making anymore. I used Monster Digital for my design. Do you have any problem with them or is there a certain company you prefer to use for front/back designs? The person that received the shirt wants a different design and I don’t want this to happen to them again.

You need to pay the fulfilment cost to your POD provider FIRST. Because your customer's money goes to Etsy, not to your POD provider. Etsy remove any applicable fees from the money your customer has paid them, before paying you out. For new sellers, Etsy may not even pay you out for a while, because they want to make sure that you are a genuine seller, that you deliver what you have promised and that you are honest and reliable. Also they may hang on to some of your funds in case a customer ever requests a refund.

Sorry if you already started your store then you can't get the free listings, it only works if you use my Etsy link to open your shop in the first place

Printify might not be the best fit for Etsy. It's much better find providers that can offer more unique decoration products, which will make more sense to sell on Etsy.
