Very detailed! One question, (the shipping and unit price printify charges) added together will be subtracted from your selling price? if so, then what is left would be your profit?

I think the shipping is separate. It says her profit is $11.34 and Printify is going to charge her $5.66 for the item. $11.34 + $5.66 = $17.00 which is what she set as the retail price. I’m wondering if the buyer has to pay for shipping or if she has to pay for it as the seller. Because if she’s paying for the shipping then she’s getting less than $2.00 in profit at the end of everything. I’m pretty sure the buyer pays for the shipping 🤞🏻

Thank you so much for the video. It was very informative. The price that was set was $17.00. In the example, the Printify cost was $5.66 and shipping showed $9.69. Does the $9.69 get charged to your card? Or is that cost what the customer pays in addition to the $17?

You will be charged for printing and shipping as well. If you included free shipping on your Etsy listing, then you’ll be charged 15.35 from printify. To get back your shipping costs then in your Etsy listing you will say 17.00 plus shipping. I hope I make sense 😊

Hi! I've been working a POD shop since September. I found myself getting hints and tips along the way. This caused me to "start over" several times. Still and all, I was getting a lot of likes and views but only a few sales. I refuse to give up because I've gotten a lot of positive feedback (but no conv.) After watching your video today, "research" was evidently an abstract concept. but you spelled it out. What a huge "OH, that's what they mean" Wow, teach me like I'm four. I'm not insulted, sometimes it takes just the right language and demonstration for even the kindergarten student to valedictorian to understand. You’re welcome. For your first question, in your Etsy order (on the back end) you’ll see the personalized note Secondly yes, personalization requires you to manually change the original design every time. So I suggest just duplicating the design as your orders come in

I had to learn how to be a better graphic designer and so the pro features helped me with that

I recommend you upload more than one listing at a time, or as many as you can tolerate. Be mindful not to upload too many because you don't want to be flagged on Etsy, I've uploaded like 8-10 listings before at one time if you needed a reference. the second part of this question is situational because it depends on what you're selling that will determine if you need to niche down, I would suggest looking at the success of other shops that are both niched down and general style shops that sell different types of products.
