Old newspapers are a great absorbent to draw moisture out of damp shoes, wad them up and stuff them into your shoes all the way to the toes, won’t be long before they’re dry! And if your camping,maybe you could dispose of the used newspapers in the campfire. I Love your videos and always look forward to the next one. God Bless.

You need a tripod to use to cook. Get yourself a 7 daycooler they fit in your jeep. Ours fits in our truck bed real easy. They are great. We took lunch meat for quick lunches. I pre made baked ziti. I took a roast with threw carrots, fr÷nch onion soup mix some cabbage and potatoes. and threw it in a crock pot. The sites had electric at least. Go enjoy your day and come home to a great meal. Save some beef and potatoes. Tge next morning I made biscuits made hash browns and beef. Two eggs each and you put cheese over it. Omg you are good to go for the day. Two meals in one. We now have a camper but we still use our old camping tricks. I cook before we leave fill the freezer and fridge. My hubby lives to do burgers on the campfire ring. We had our own ring made to cover the campsite fire rings. Sadly we might sale our camper. She's a beautiful camper. I kid my hubby I'm moving in the camper. I could live in there real easy. But my labrador is to old to get up the steps. My hubby works 6 12 hour days. He's to tired to go camping. So I enjoy watching your videos. That spider and slug would have flew across the campsite. I hate to see slugs. They eat my hosts. I used to pluck them off my plants and put them in the yard. The birds love to go after them. I don't mind spiders but that was to big for me to like. Glad you had c a good time camping. Praying for your safety while out on your adventures.

Another great adventure as usual. But those poor people crammed into all those planes, breathing that stale air, the noise of the engines roaring in their ears, probably not very good snacks, and definitely not a beautiful view to eat them by. And then, there's you. Able to stretch out in your camp chair or tent, fresh air in your lungs, the songs of birds to listen to, yummy snacks, beautiful views in every direction, and able to eat as many beans as you want! Lucky, lucky you! Thanks for taking us along. 🌻💛
@jayforkner26922 жыл бұрын
Stale air ?? The cabin air flows primarily from ceiling to floor, not front to back, which minimizes contaminants spreading through the cabin. It is also exchanged every two to three minutes with outside air and through high efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filters
@TimeForNature12 жыл бұрын
@@jayforkner2692 Thanks for your reply. It prompted me to research your comments a little further. Interesting process mixing fresh air with existing cabin air - and with the help of the engines, too. You can learn something new every day. However, I would still prefer to breath the air found in nature accompanied by the sounds and sights that come along with it.🌳🌲🌴🌸🌻🌺🌼🐦🦆🦢🦅🦃 🐿

That's a lot of stew! Just a tip, don't use a wet cloth to lift cast iron, or anything else, hot. Use a dry cloth. Love the spring green of the leafing trees. Spring is such a beautiful time of year, my favorite...well, maybe not the pollen part of spring. Fortunately most airports have no flights from around 11/midnight until 5 the next morning so you'll get some quiet time to sleep. I knew the Pittsburgh airport was busy but had no idea it was THAT busy! Yikes!

That was a lot of fun Cliff and tasty too. Spiders are our friends, they take care of the bad guys. Iron is best, I use iron skillets at home for bacon, home fries and eggs too. Are smaller cans of ingredients available? Seemed to be a lot of corn , carrots and lima beans to add to the meat and baked beans for one person. I know you don't like to waste food. Not a fan of lima beans, maybe a can of small potatoes next time? Thanks again for the fun Cliff.

I am not a fan of beans…..my son and hubby eat enough to keep themselves amused 😉. I just don’t care for the ‘dusty’ texture of beans. I enjoy the night songs of the robins and always try to catch the very last song of the evening. I love to hear when “the last bird sings”….
