They say you always remember the trips where it rained. I remember a LOT of my camping trips. Thanks for this. I like that there was nothing spectacular about this overnight. If you would take one of those flashlights you give away. Put it in firefly mode and hang if from a branch/twig on one of those trees at 24:34 you may pull a whippoorwill close enough to hear the drumbeat before it starts going bonkers. Yellow light seems the best. Led's not as effective. The purpose is to attract nighttime bugs that those birds eat. We do it often in the skook. Whippoorwill my favorite bird. Wood Thrush is 2nd. Chickadees are between those two. Grab some shelled sunflower seeds. Chickadees may very well fly down and start trying to scatter them. They know you will leave. Then they will eat them. If you frequent the same areas often enough and gained some trust. They will land on you. Chickadees are fearless!

Ohhhh,I forgot. If you know anyone that orders from Shein,ask them for the bags. They make great storage bags and have a good zipper. My hiking shoes and a pair of socks fit well in one. Depending on what was ordered, there are different sizes. Just a suggestion. ❤❤

The envelope those mashed potatoes come in tells you exactly how much water you’re supposed to put in. For a regular size envelope, it’s 2 cups. Didn’t look like you had quite enough water to make them nice and creamy.

Yo Cliff! Please do you and your stomach a favor and buy a quality steak. Cheap round steaks are amongst the worst cuts of beef. Open your wallet and pick up a ribeye, t-bone or a NY strip. You'll be amazed at the difference. And try cooking it just on the rack. Your meals are improving but you still need a little help.
