The 150,000 rotations per race has broken my head that doesn't seem anywhere near as many as I thought

I thought the same, but F1 tyre sizes when the video was made were 245/660-R13 and 325/660-R13. 660 * pi = 2,073.45mm circumference. The Monaco Grand Prix for example is 260.286km long, so 260,286,000 / 2,073.45 = 125,532.81 rotations, assuming zero wheelspin. I would’ve assumed way, way more but I guess not.
