I just remembered another 2D Zelda like game that I had honestly forgot all about before now, but I remember enjoying the game and finding the concept of the game cool. Evoland, it starts as a black and white game with only being able to move in 4 directions and then as you progress you unlock game features like 8 Bit color, being able to move in 8 directions etc. I thought that was a neat concept as it let us see the evolution of gaming from the 80s to now as we progress. Some sections are also inspired by other games like Diablo and Final Fantasy.

Its definitely cool to see many dungeon crawlers inspired by Zelda franchise. And its also awesome that Luke is trying them out, leaves a fine taste in the head haha :)

Missed this series so much, nice to see it back. Imma have to get this game myself and play it. I love Link's Awakening, so im sure this game is amazing. The fact that there are a variety of games inspired by Zelda shows that Zelda is a known and loved franchise, at least in my opinion. Also, a Zelda-Like game is "Night Stones". It's said the game is inspired by Zelda and is about 2 and a half hours long. It has botw and totk elements with gliding and exploring, and a sailing feature that reminds me a lot of WW.

I did not realize how short this game is. Other Zelda clones you can play: -Okami and Ocean's Heart are really good but you probably can't beat those two in one play session since they are pretty lengthy especially Okami. -Ittle Dew and it's sequel is another good one. I remember the first one being kind of short but I didn't finish the sequel. -Blossom Tales 1 and 2 is another one. -Saga of the Moon Priestess is another one. That one is a bit rough around the edges and is not a polished as other 2D Zeldas. -Sword of the Succubus is also a Zelda clone but I don't think that game is appropriate for KZbin. It does have hentai scenes.

Nice to see you playing this :) though you may like it since it seems heavily inspired by Links Awakening, this kind of graphics really does have its charm 😃 Btw, have you tried any of the Ittle Dew games? They are like 2D Zelda games only very challenging (I literally rage quitted while playing the second game 😂)

You ever heard of Tunic? I haven't been able to play it myself yet, but it also has a lot of Zelda inspiration so I've been told. It's also kinda cute looking with the the fox adventurer. Might warrant a series though if you plan on beating it for a video, I also hear it's a bit longer of a game.

A bit disappointing tbh, you'd expect it to be at least as long as Link's awakening which isn't that long... I think it would be great if they worked on a full version because this is shorter than most Game Boy games.

I understand why they initially made it like this since many adults just don’t have that much time to play games and with this they can complete it within the afternoon. But I also hope that they next make a long version for us with more time on our hand :D I couldn’t believe how addictive this game was, especially the 50 floor challenge. I just wanted more after I was done :D
