Hi STL, I’ve been watching your videos for a couple of months now and after watching this one I just had to subscribe. I love your videos of Thailand and traveling off the “beaten” path. I was a little surprised by your “Leaving Thailand” video and questioned why you would leave such a beautiful place. I never would’ve guessed it could get better. Looking at some of the images in this video I actually wept 😢at how beautiful the beaches, water and people are. Also love the little turns off the road and mini side trips. You never know what you’ll discover. Also, THANK you for being a shining example of western culture and North America by treating the people and their cultures with respect, dignity, and courtesy. Keep up the great work. Looking forward to future videos and adventures.✌🏼👍🏼

Beautiful undeveloped beaches. In years of travel I seen many untouched gems go from rustic to overrun (Bali, Siem Reap, Samui). It's great to know there are still quiet places where the lights go out at 10, the beach shacks are made of driftwood, and internet speeds won't accommodate digital nomads.

Great Video! My wife and I are really enjoying checking out your channel. As a retired pilot, I have traveled extensively around the world. In all of my travels the Indonesian people were the most friendly and warm people I encountered. My wife has never traveled to Asia but after watching your videos, she too is now looking forward to a trip to Asia. I suspect that Thailand, Indonesia, and Malaysia are all in the plan for a trip later this winter. Please keep the good videos coming. Warm Regards, Rog

Hi from Las Vegas! Absolutely stunning beach. Unbelievably gorgeous. I could spend a LONG time on Belitung Island. The weather looks perfect. You should post some longer videos…like maybe 1 every other month. I’d watch an entire 2 hour video. Your videos keep me watching and always look forward to the next. The little camera works great. I adore those little bungalows. Just what you need but nothing fancy and right on the beach. Amazing! BTW Panang is my fav! Yum yum. It’s so nice to see you give the cats and dogs some love. Hi Meatball Iol

Can give you the unknown tour. Crocodile spotting and all sorts. I live in Jkt so can do the same there. Fun times.
@SideTripLife11 ай бұрын
I read about the salt water crocs and talked to some locals about them. From what I understand they're mainly found in 'their' habitat up mangroves and muddy estuaries (not on the main beaches if any are reading and wondering;). However, also read about the unfortunate fellow who had a run in at an abandoned tin pit adjacent to a marsh/nest habitat. Was interested in seeing both Kaolin Lake and also possibly crocs but ran out of time. So next time for sure. Btw, have a look at the one on the front of this loader on Bangka: www.the-sun.com/news/9979443/inside-croc-attack-capital-wolrd-indonesia/ Should be fun indeed.

Ok, that does it! Why? Why? Why? I thought I'd been fairly adventurous in my holiday travels, but you have just kicked me completely out of the park, and I'm not sad about it. Yes, I love Thailand, and am drawn massively to moving there, and I have been researching Bali for quite a while as well, but the rest of Indonesia just wasn't on my radar at all, and I'm now sitting here wondering why that is the case? I'm 100% with you. The setting of the Rock and Wreck, the surroundings, the layout, the random palm trees dotted around....I don't think it gets better than that for the kind of place I would be at complete and utter peace with. Phenomenal find.

Amazing people, beach, rocks, water clarity, views , food and...singing! (I think you said you wouldn’t get up and do Karaoke but I wonder... if you had enough “wobbly pops“... 🤔🤣) Okay, compared to Koh Phangan price wise... better overall prices there on islands in Indonesia? 🏝 The hospitality reminds me of Philippines but the beautiful quiet calm beaches more of Thong Nai Pan Yai in the NE corner of Koh Phangan. And the roads look in good shape, quiet and comfortably safe to drive a scooter on this island.... plus not many foreign tourists. Am I missing anything here? 🥳😍 P.S. I would watch probably max an hour. Buts that’s because I watch in the evening and then have to go make something to eat because you show such great looking dishes and I cannot stop myself from the hunger pangs. 😂 Peace in STL, and much more enjoyable singing to you, reggae-man! ✌🏼 Thank you for your amazing sharing you DO do. Whatever you choose to do for videos, is truly fine by me! 🤗🙏🏼☮️
