Castiel in this episode broke my heart. He was perfect. And Good Job, Misha Collins ! You really have to win all the awards ! So... This video I did because I wanted to show you some parts of the 7x01 - Meet The New Boss. Castiel was ashamed but Dean didn't care. Cass as God hurt many people and then he repented. But I don't know if he's alive now, with Leviathan in his body.

Ergg! I wish people would just see Cas for what he is. He is a kind protector over Dean and Sam but they don't give him enough credit. They blame everyhting on him! Sam freakin' started the apocalypse and Dean didn't get on his case for that. But when those creatures began to tear Cas apart and he just wanted to fix what he had done. They blame him! I feel bad for Castiel. I just want to jump into the T'V and comfort him.

Watch around 2:00. They clearly care about Cas. They could have just as easily just said "Sit down and shut up while we prep everything". Instead, watch, and you can see they're very attentive to him. Even Bobby pats his shoulder as he passes by. I distinctly remember Dean giving Sam a lot of crap about starting the apocalypse, so I wouldn't say they're picking on Cas, but think of it this way: they're angry with him BECAUSE they care. You always get the most disappointed with people you care about, otherwise why would you care?

Castiel Novak I have determined the true reason that I'm not in Supernatural is because I would constantly hug Cass (and Dean if I were brought onto earlier seasons) and wouldn't let go.

Watching "Meet the Boss" yet AGAIN. There just always seems to be something new and sad that I catch in the episode, primarily with Misha's character of Castiel. He is a child to the whole range of human emotions in so many ways, so when he makes a mistake, he really steps in it, but like a child he will do anything to "make it right" again. The look on his face when he turns to apologize to Dean is of infinite sorrow, and when he turns back to eject the souls back into purgatory,the looks changes to sad resignation and abject despair. To not be touched by that scene is to have a heart of stone. Misha can use the slightest variations in expression to change the emotional response from "I am God!" to "Please forgive me." That's why he's such an outstanding actor.

***** Oh, guys! What do they know!(scoff!) Sometimes I think they DO have hearts of stone. They need to stop being so macho. I truly think "Meet the New Boss" is the most heartbreaking episode in SN history, more than any of the times Sam or Dean have been killed. It's Cas! He is trying so hard to learn to understand humanity and he really is so childlike, and really,still is. In spite of knowing he is an angel, he is so fragile,and all you want to do is protect him. He has suffered a great deal, all because he basically followed what God intended the angels do all along: serve and protect His Creation. For that, he was branded rebel, and Fallen. Personally, I believe God has continued to bring him back to show the other angels that Cas was always on the right track, all along, and they are the ones who disobeyed. Cas has had it very rough, and you love him all the more for it, epic fails and all.

***** Well...for me, it's this one. I've loved Cas since the first day he walked across the screen. I think he will turn out to be one of the most beloved characters in television history. Can't believe it's in its 10th season. BTW, did you know in the Catholic faith Castiel is actually an archangel? We believe God created seven- Michael, Gabriel, Raphael(aka Azrael), Uriel, Raguel, Sammiel(aka Sammandriel) and Castiel(aka Cassiel). It always bugged me that Kripke demoted him to mere seraphim. The archangels are alsothe only angels that are also saints. So Cas is St. Castiel. Pretty cool,huh?

Originally,all seven were named in the Bible, but our Ancient Fathers became concerned that people might begin to worship the angels if they were named, so all but Gabriel and Raphael's names were removed. The rest of the names can be found throughout Catholic literature. Eric Kripke might call angels a myth, but they are quite real. There are many instances of angels appearing to assist humankind, both in the Old and New Testament. Jews and Christians alike believe in angels. Do you remember in Season 5, Ep. 16 "Dark side of the Moon?" Zachariah was confronting the boys in Heaven, and told them that in Heaven he had six wings and four heads, one of which was a lion. The type of angel he was describing himself as is called a CHERUBIM. When Castiel says his true form is the size of the Chrysler Building, he is sort of describing a SERAPHIM. Seraphim have seven wings to cover their entire body, including their face, if they so choose. Their wings are also covered with eyes, which makes them omniscient. You can find descriptions of them in Revelations. Like I said, though, Castiel is an archangel. The other thing Kripke did that annoyed me is say that angels need to possess a human in order to manifest to other humans. That is absolute twaddle! Angels are not human but they are capable of appearing human to us. Demons, on the other hand, can and do possess humans, and the only way to get rid of them is through exorcism. Demons are not capable of appearing human. (You know, sometimes I think the truth can be cooler than fiction! The peeps at SN oughta think about that once in awhile.) They need to make Cas an archangel now anyway, and I kinda hope they bring Gabriel back. Those two would run Heaven the way God wants it to be run. Sadly, our satellite doesn't offer the CW, so I have to wait till Wednesday to see the new eppies on CW.com on my laptop. I talk to the screen all the time, or I'm laughing my butt off at something Cas did. Sometimes my mom comes to use the laundry room. She thinks I'm insane. I could never begin to explain SN to her. She hates anything she thinks might be sci-fi related.(eyeroll) I live in the country so it's hard to find SN fans except online. Most people don't know what the hell I'm talking about! :(

This was really beautiful. This episode broke my heart. I cried for days! Cas is my favorite on the whole show. He is such a paradox; so powerful and commanding, and yet so innocent and childlike at the same time. One minute you want to hug him to make the pain go away, the next minute you want to take him to bed with you! How can you resist a guy like that? Misha is a fabulous actor- he's Mishadorable!

Just watched "Meet the New Boss" again on Netflix, so I had to come back and watch this video again. It just BREAKS MY HEART!!! The song is really perfect, and yanks HARD at your heartstrings. Misha is such a terrific actor, and I've been in love with Cas since Day One. I have to pause just for a moment to take issue with Eric Kripke- Eric- you demoted Castiel to seraphim, when in actuality, in the majority of Christian Bibles(including the Catholic Bible), Castiel is actually an archangel. As Jensen would say, "Damn you, Eric Kripke!" There!Now I've got that off my chest. Rumor had it that this was supposed to be Misha's swan song as Cas, but the character had become so popular by then that there was an enormous outcry from the fans, so they brought Cas back in ep. 17, The Born-Again Identity, and returned him to regular status by Season 8. And Supernatural fans may rejoice-- the CW has already renewed Supernatural for a 10th season, and yes, darling Cas will be back!! HOOORAY!

I love this video almost made me cry! Poor Cas, I've been so angry at Dean and Sam for taken Cas for grated. This was truely one of the best Castiel videos I've seen!
