“Casting Maya” (TRAILER) - Official Selection, IF4 Fly Fishing Film Festival 2022

Casting Maya tells the story about the world famous Ascension Bay that is located on the peninsula of Yucatan/Mexico.
The Sian Ka’an biosphere reservation is know for its richness in gamefish like Tarpons, Permits, Bonefish, Snook and many more.
We traveled to Punta Allen, a small fishing village also know as „The permit capital of the world“.
Well that was obviously the main goal, to catch a „Palometa“ on the fly.
Especially the local Mexican guides are know for their kindness and expertise in salt water fly fishing.
