@@uckeylee this was shortly after season 9, and ru said some pretty awful things about trans women, including comparing hrt to steroids, and he specifically singled peppermint out as someone who would never compete again specifically bc she has breasts now. this obviously wasnt received very well, and ru issued a half-assed apology on twitter, where he posted the wrong image for the trans pride flag (instead he inserted an image of a painting called train landscape, making it painfully obvious that he accidentally googled “trains flag”). around the time the as4 cast was revealed, there was a lot of speculation that gia was only cast to try and make up for rupauls past transphobia, specifically this incident.

I would say not a nightmare but Sasha Velour has definitely set herself apart from the entire show as soon as her contract ended. There are even rumors that she was asked to be a lip-sync assassin on AS5 but she refused because of the show's lack of inclusivity. Manila’s pad dress wasn’t prevented from being on the runway bc the show is purely misogynistic. @@geekwhoeatsrice Well looking at how contestants score in a season isn't necessarily rocket science. So this idea that it was stolen is kinda selfish and self centered. I will say that a lot of dragrace insta or channels do end up sharing somethings that are suspiciously similar to what "u." has said before, but claiming that you are the pre-madonna to everything(which u. did not state) statistically related to drag race(which u. did not state) or simple looking at how the queens place every season is just foolish.

That's why she was on those episodes in All Stars 4 really randomly. She was really not happy with the show after that!

With Willam, you have to understand there is a difference between her "disqualification" and her being "banned" by the show. S4 Willam broke many rules because the crew were very dismissive and rude to her and the girls, including not feeding them properly and not even getting their names right, like Willam saying she made an assistant cry by barking at her when she called Latrice "La-something". This had nothing really to do with Willam getting kicked off, even though she broke a lot of rules, Willam basically was like "if you kick me out you gotta explain it to your viewers". What tipped it over is two incidents, one was Willam left during a production break, left the hotel room to be in an off-broadway show because she thought it was a better opportunity, returning after the long weekend. In addition to that, she had sex with one of the producers (one Pearl also had sex with), which combined was the final straw, and they disqualified her. However, the whole "getting visits from her husband" thing, while true her husband did show up to drop off outfits and screw her, it was decided by the producers that would be the public reason she was disqualified, and Willam was like "sure, yeah, whatever, I can play the game". At this point, Willam was disqualified, but she was not blackballed from production, she was on Drag U, was on Season 5, and they wanted her for All Stars 1, howeer they cut her contract at the last minute because Phi Phi fell through, and the producers decided if Phi Phi wasn't there, there was no reason for Willam to be there, since it was unlikely Willam would fight with anyone else on that season. As for her being "banned" from future projects, Willam said after having her All Stars contract suddenly ended she's had a rocky relationship with the show, but still was willing to work with them. However, when All Stars 2 was being discussed, Willam apparently let it slip it was happening, which even though pretty much everyone already knew it was happening, she said that was when production officially removed her from their email chain and stopped talking to her altogether. That is when she considers herself "banned".

I am down for the video about S13 Ep. 8! What happened on it needs to be discussed. PS: I think Phi Phi has better chances of winning this hypothetical season. She did good on several of the main challenges of Drag Race like the ball, the makeover challenge, the Snatch Game, improv challenges, acting challenges and even a marketing challenge. I think the only challenge Phi Phi would fail is a Rusical or the Rumix, which can be supported by the Frenemies challenge from S4 and the iconic "I'm Going Out Tonight" from AS2 (also known as the "Gurl, find the note")

I think this season would be filled with lawsuits and T-spilling go back to their initial seasons. Honestly, it would just be a giant reunion episode because half these girls actually do dislike/ hate Ru and or WoW. In the case of Tammie for as wild as she is, she is very smart and takes no bullshit. James desperately needs therapy if they don't already have it. Jerami has some demons that I think he clearly has worked through but the show would definitely manipulate something much like his All-Stars 2 edit (where I really didn't find him to be that mean, but heaven forbid you to call out Alyssa and the overly scared Roxxxy who comes from the pageant scene and definitely gave her own in S5. Nina is another case of someone call a therapist. Sherrie is someone who needs some time in a clinic of some sort and a job outside of "entertaining" people. The comments and mindset of Ru/ WoW in terms of Carmen, Peppermint, (and Sonique) are definitely just not something I think this fan base is mature enough to really watch. I honestly don't think it is mature enough to watch a reunion/ confrontation of this play out in general. On top of that, I know that Delta has no interest in a return at this time with the direction of the show and that is all I will get into on that. We have to think that some of these queens competed close to a decade or so ago and these labels have followed them even if they have completely moved on.
