SO this was probably the most heartbreaking part of the episode. THEIR FREAKIN' FACIAL EXPRESSIONS. He's so angry and heartbroken, and she has no idea why he's angry with her :'(

The sad thing is Beckett never seriously attempted to directly find out what was going on with Castle.

he never showed anger at her. he was, however, cold and distant.

That hurts so much... also the way he says "night" instead of his usual "until tomorrow"
@jesse97102 жыл бұрын
That's cause in the beginning of the show he says that goodnight is boring and dull, and untill tomorrow has hope, and promise. Him saying good night is him saying he doesn't think there is hope for them to get together, such a small detail but such a good one

For all her detection, She could see Castle was fuming, when he knew instantly what was wrong with her. Burke could see.

When I saw the scene when Beckett revealed she remembered the events of her getting shot. I thought to myself not only was Castle there at the right time, the right moment, now let me explain why I say that. She didn' tell Castle how she felt for the longest time when she says that she remembers, I felt the anger and sadness from Castle. Once Castle finds out, he not only has great play on words, he uses tone with those words to make her feel everything and realize her own true feelings.

Aaaarrgghh!!! So weird, uncomfortable etc. watching scenes like this now!!! I don't care for all the awkwardness, distance etc. It is crazy to think about this period in Caskett's history!! I'm up to S7 ep. 15 now and they're married!!! STROOOONG!!! In loooooooove!!!! Supportive of one another etc!!! But their journey has been veeeery veeeery rocky in the past - distant and recent but more so in the distant past! Just crazy!!! That's what I think of when I see scenes like this now!!

So strange thing. I mean Beckett is a detective but is too stupid or blind to get the double meaning of his comments (especially as he directly addresses it after the interrogation in which Beckett admits she remembers everything) or that he still is hurt by that? So not logical in my opinion. And given that she realizes he‘s hurt, she not asking him about, just shows how cold she really is.

There was an episode where they were interrogating a suspect who has a Ukranian(-ish) accent and when he starts to explain Beckett and Castle follow his every word. "She come to me, say... Sorry to accuse, she craii (accent here)" Beckett: "She Craii- She cried?"

@stefanie.binge01 Жыл бұрын
That’s true. Usually he says until tomorrow because there’s more hope to it than a simple good night. It’s worth coming back another day because there is hope which I don’t think he had at this moment

Is there a scene where castle says that he knew or is that 4x23 Always ?
@FenderSchonJPX6 жыл бұрын
xInnnee Yep that's when he tells her and she has the gall to say that was a terrible time to bring it up. The reality is she's damaged goods. She's incapable of opening up and loving somebody. He was right at the end of season three. She crawled inside her mothers death and never came out. People lose parents all the time and don't go on some lifelong butt hurt pity party using that as an excuse to treat those that dare to love them like shit.
@cspresimir4 жыл бұрын
@@FenderSchonJPX "People lose parents all the time" People don't usually lose parents as a result of a murder though. And yeah, she's damaged goods alright, even she's aware of that (see that Killshot episode).
@sophiellaneuburg23563 жыл бұрын
@@FenderSchonJPX okay seriously, you have absolutely no clue what's it's like if your own mother gets murdered when you're still a teenager. This is such a huge thing to deal with and people who have experienced this in real life often can't deal with it at all. If you go through a trauma like this, it is VERY hard for you to become "normal" again. You'll most likely live with trust & bounding issues for the rest of your life. So please, do me and all of us a favor and stop writing such stupid stuff when you certainly don't know what it's like to go through this.
@akshatgupta1073 жыл бұрын
@@FenderSchonJPX i agree that Beckett deserved what she got but saying that losing parents because of murder and due to natural causes is the same??! Don't write about stuff you don't have any idea about
@TheJCMlove2 жыл бұрын
@@FenderSchonJPX She warned Castle from season 1 that she doesn't touch her mother's case for the same reason alcoholic don't drink... That the last time she did it nearly destroyed her and she had to let it go for the sake of her own sanity... And guess who somehow convinced her to pick up the investigation again? The charming Mr Castle... And was there supportively by her side the entire time to boot... The writing producing directing and acting of the character development in this show was right on so many levels.
