!!!For the people struggling!!! You can also double press the jump button THEN do the stomp and it’ll also work. Doing the combo was a bit difficult for me since I kept killing the thieves and throwing them so I air attacked and it also worked

Just tried it right now and it still works, just have to keep trying, I personally did it with multiple thiefs at the bottom part of the clif to try and increase my chances of it occurring, it only applies to one enemy but the chances are higher the more you do the combo on 👍

Still working June 2023 on the Nintendo switch. If you are struggling to keep your switch awake I would put your switch in TV mode (in the dock) and get a pro controller, then use a rubber band to wrap around both joy-cons. If you don’t have a pro controller just use the joy-con grips then the rubber bands.

Still works, on all platforms. It's pretty tough though. When you hit them during the jump, don't do ut at the peak of the jump, do it when you are close to the ground but still in the air.

Okay, here is an update. I tried a few variations. The weapon you use makes a difference. I could not do the cheat with the alien due to a fire ability. I was able to do it with the skeleton and a normal weapon. Hope this helps!

works flawlessly in 2025, make sure no weapons with effects (shock, critical, fire ext.) takes about 6 hours to get to 78, probably 8-9 total hours to hit 99. in insane mode, you get a 20% xp speed increase because hawkster grabs food every 50 tics instead of 5

I have achieved something special. I have grinded my Thief to level 20 just ATTEMPTING to set this up. Never worked even though it has in the past with other characters. Only had 2 points put into strength from when my character was around level 3. If anyone attempts this (non insanse mode) i would suggest resetting the character data if you have ANY points in strength. Anyways thank you for the helpful guide. Hopefully others can stomp on the thief unlike me. And if yoy ae readjng this and haven't heard already, stop completely before heavy attacking to pull off a stomp (allegedly)

You gotta be careful when you hit him bc if you give him too much knockback it'll send him up the platform too early. I don't know why the stomp isn't working for you, the only thing I can think of is doing a throw combo instead of a stomp. You do a throw combo on a downed enemy with a heavy attack while moving, if you want to do a stomp combo you have to do a heavy attack on a downed enemy while your character isn't moving

With ur shield out slowly walk towards him and when you are just barely close enough jump and use a light attack. Only use the light attack when you are coming down from the jump tho dont do it at the top

Yes it's for the remastered version, XboxOne. I had original version too but I can confirm the hack works for Remastered! So it's worth buying so you can level up all your characters AFK. Except alien hominid, he has a fire magic boost that ruins it!
