For the Hawkster afk glitch it should be noted that sometimes the thief can end up behind you rather than on top of the cliff, the glitch will still work as intended.

​@@Just_call_me_Light I was also struggling but after I made it work most the time. To make it not throw him or swing your sword you have to wait a bit before pressing heavy attack button to stomp. Just don't wait long enough that he gets back up. I also find that moving a little closer to his body after you hit him helps it do the stomp. Hope this helps but idk.

The afk hawkster xp glitch was never patched. I don't know what you are doing at all, so I can't really make any corrections, but if you do it exactly as I did in the video it should be working.

Muscle atrophy loaded beefy😅😂 I don't have any other videos on this except for my "Castle Crashers Glitch Compilation" at 31:00, but this really just has the same explanation. If you need tips, here some are: Do this in sand castle interior, because there's a beefy on the first wave (kill the smaller enemy first if you need to). Jump and attack the beefy with a heavy, heavy, light, heavy attack and then try to throw your boomerang at the beefy before you land on the ground (hitting the beefy with the boomerang is frame perfect, so it might take multiple attempts, but if you do it right, the beefy will NOT do the animation of lying on the ground). Once you have muscle atrophy loaded the beefy, run as far away from him as possible and then eat a sandwich (do this because you will not be able to move while transforming into a beefy and if the enemy beefy gets close to you he will attack you and no longer be muscle atrophy loaded). Once you're beefy try to run into the other beefy vertically so that you get into a beefy wrestle (NOT horizontally. Running into the beefy horizontally could cause him to attack you making him not muscle atrophy loaded anymore). Once you are in a beefy wrestle DO NOT press anything, just let the beefy throw you. This will get him stuck in the air and then you can spam splash magic at him. You can also take the scratch paw animal orb and overlap it with your animal orb to get infinite magic. I really hope this makes sense and I also hope this helps. This is definitely not an easy glitch to set up. As aside from doing the xp glitch, you can also get grabbed by the beefy for a softlock, or you can stand still a let him attack you (this will turn the beefy into a normal size enemy for his attack, and then he will return beefy after his attack is finished. I really hope this all makes sense and good luck!

After you muscle atrophy load him don't let him get close to you, because any attacks he does will break the glitch. So I would try to lure him to one side of the map and then run over to the other side of the map then eat a sandwich.

@@askme-so3py you won't get any XP when you attack dead enemies, so when the beefy runs out of hp, you'll have to kill him and restart. That's why this glitch works best on insane mode.

Yes, because the antloin I constantly taking damage. I find this glitch pretty pointless on normal mode because you will only get 200 XP (220 with giraffey). But if you do this on insane mode you with get 2,000 XP (2,200 with giraffey)

If the beefy uses any sort of attack in-between the time you muscle atrophy load him and when he throws you, it ruins the glitch and you'll have to muscle atrophy load him again. So basically after muscle atrophy loading the beefy, make sure he does not attack you in any way until you let him beefy wrestle you.

Sorry man, I have no idea. I do know that the game will pause itsself whenever a controller runs out of battery/gets disconnected. Maybe you could try doing the glitch while your controller is plugged in or make sure that it's at full battery before doing the glitch.

If i can ever get through the flowery fields on insane mode and beyond, these tips may help w/ some of my other characters for grinding but my industrialist is highest at 92 spamming the catfish boss w/ magic since i only do 5 damage a hit w/ saw blade and can usually get close to or more than 1k exp each time.

That is normal. The Antlion is constantly taking damage so he will die pretty fast, making this pretty pointless on normal mode, but if you do this on insane mode, it will take around 30 seconds to kill the Antlion, giving you much more XP.

I haven't found any combos that muscle atrophy load beefys as consistently as HHLH (not that this combo is very consistent to begin with). You could try starting the combo once you are close to the ground, and then mash the boomerang button as fast as possible. It'll probably take multiple attempts though, good luck!

Yeah the timing is a little tricky😅 There is a different way to Muscle Atrophy Load the beefy by hitting him three times with an air attack, throw your boomerang past him, and when it's coming back, hit the beefy with an arrow. Although sadly, I think this is a frame perfect method (but I'm pretty sure the method in the video is frame perfect too). I do find the method in the video the easiest, but just keep trying, you'll get it eventually.

Setting up afk hawk is not fun when your character keeps throwing the thief regardless of your positioning and if you're moving when you press the heavy attack or not. It took way too many tries before it finally decided to cooperate.

It's a beat-em-up; the best you could hope for is an xp system that inspires repeated playthroughs, more grind. It suits the genre. If they went the rpg route and fleshed out all sorts of xp mechanics beyond just hitting, people would find ways that are much cheesier to get op early, and the game that is already unbearably short would feel smaller. Xp on hit incentivizes repeated playthroughs and suits the overall design.

It does work, it's just very inconsistent. Just keep throwing your boomerang at the cactus and it will eventually get stuck. There is an 8 agility setup that works everytime, stand at the bottom left of the cactus and throw your boomerang at full power, then run into the antlion and if you have 8 agility this will work every time. If these instructions are too confusing for you I have a short showcasing it. Good luck

It does work! It's kind of precise though. Just keep trying to hit the beefy with the boomerang as he lands until you see him not play the animation of lying on the ground. Once youve got that to work make sure that he doesn't get close to you until you beefy wrestle him. (If he attacks, he'll no longer be Muscle Atrophy Loaded).

His splash attack won't damage airborne enemies, and since the beefy is considered in the air, there will be no effect. You can set up the glitch just fine with Red Knight and even damage the beefy, but you will just not be able to do 1 damage to him from splash attacks unlike most other characters.

You can do boomerang glitch on cat boss level

You could on the days of Xbox 360, but that glitch has been patched, but same goes for Antlion XP glitch, as that glitch was patched and it still works, just with a harder set up. So theoretically, it's still possible on the Catfish, but currently there is no known set up. As far as I know the only places that have set ups that work in the remastered versions are Antlion, Industrial Pillars, and Pipistrello.

The glitch won't work if you are using an elemental weapon. The glitch will also break if the thief stands still, avoid this by standing at the bottom of the screen, so the thief will be constantly walking down, trying to get to your y position

The glitch hasn't been patched I can guarantee that. You still must be doing something wrong. I have another video on my channel that goes way more in depth about AFK Hawkster than this one, you might want to check that one out as it might have the solution you need.

Just keep practicing. You have to hit the beefy with the boomerang on the same frame he hits the ground. I find this easiest to jump and hit the beefy with H H L H and then mash the button to throw your boomerang. After you have muscle atrophy loaded the beefy run as far away from him as possible and eat a sandwich. Once you are beefy run in to the other beefy so that you get into a wrestling match with him. Then just simply let him win, and you should be able to XP farm off of him.

no offense but you're a little uninformed, a glitch is something that the game does without being programmed that way. to explain myself, the only glitch that you have mentioned is the AFK hawk one, the other ones are pro tips, it was usefull to know anyways so keep making content 👍

All glitches are programmed into the game, not intended, but programmed. The game runs off of the programmed code which is the only source of telling the game what to do, therefore all glitches have reasoning to what causes them in the code. I will agree, the first two really aren't glitches, they're more of XP methods. But the last three definitely have major irregularities like getting a beefy stuck in the air. But instead of arguing about the definition of glitch, I thank you for your feedback and have a good one!😁

This is very inconsistent, and it might take up to 20 attempts to get it right. Just keep throwing your boomerang at the cactus and running in to the antlion, you'll get it eventually. There are setups that are consistent at 0 agility and 8 agility, but if you're not at those agility levels it might take a while. Good luck!

The 8 agility setup works if you stand near the bottom left of the cactus and throw your boomerang at full power, then run into the antlion. The 0 agility setup on the other hand is a pixel perfect position in front of the cactus, you must throw your boomerang at full power and then run into the antlion.

Sorry I got to this late (KZbin didn't notify me of this comment for some reason). Hawkster doesn't work with elemental weapons, but I think you said you figured out how to do AFK Hawker, so I'll just explainthe Antlion XP Glitch. The antlion always dies fast because he only has 200 hp and the boomerang will deal one damage every frame when it's stuck, so if you're playing at 60 fps, it's normal for him to die in about 3 seconds, but if you do this on insane mode the Antlion will have 10x more hp setting his health to 2,000 allowing you to attack him for about 30 seconds.

@@ajday19891989 ohh. Try to get more space between the thief and the cliff then use the light attack. Doing the light attack moves the thief back just a little bit, so if the thief is to close to the cliff he will instantly climb up it before you can stomp him.

I'm pretty sure they do work, but I think the cliff for hawkster is unaccessible unless you do a wave skip glitch, and for the antlion it's just really inconsistent to perform. I could be wrong because I've never played PS3 version.

@@quwiks6521 Wave skipping. If you have two players stand close to each other and then walk away, the screen will expand. If you do this at the right spot you can skip waves.
