Dude I have been playing through this torture chamber of a game and I saw you did a whip only and I thought how the fuck, especially the doppelgänger. I skipped to that part and saw the hell you had to go though. Amazing accomplishment. What a torturous challenge !

Thank goodness you also uploaded the unlisted videos of the full streams here since I always love watching or rewatching the journey you took to that completion (though I know why you upload the full streams of those only unlisted). I was there for most of those but especially during almost all of the second stream. Seeing you struggling with the first form at first, then thinking that the third form is unbeatable but figuring it out more and more, then getting only outmatched by bullshit like the disappearing floor until you finally made it and the end credits rolled...it was quite the entertaining 8 hours to watch. Though I have to admit that that Double KO was something XD. I am sure it is not easy to cut down 17 hours of content down to 6 hours 22 minutes but it will be interesting for me to first watch the unedited streams again and then this edited version. Sadly missed the two Loop 2 streams you did yesterday and today and looking forward to rewatching them...mostly because of their long run time because I thought with your whip-only experience and now being able to use subweapons again that should be more of a piece of cake...I guess Loop 2 increases the difficulty not by factor 2 but by factor 16 or something? Anywho, will see that when I get to them. Keep up the good work, MFM! You are the best!

Mike Matei, you truly are the master of entertainment. I felt like i was right there with you in all the difficult parts, feeling the pain and suffering....... I watched The Price is Right all the time, and Double Dare, Fun House, Family Feud, Press Your Luck (I've watched the first 355 eps on KZbin so far, there are over 700) and........ Video Power (best game show ever) they actually played this game on there a few times. NEVER Match Game though, ugh! And all they pretty much play on our game show channel here is Family Feud (just the Steve Harvey ones) and Match Game :O with a Press Your Luck or two thrown in on weekends. THANK YOU.

Good job Mike! I've been attempting the same thing but on Hard mode. I hope at some point you try that too. I've been stuck on stage 7 for ages (when you take the path through Alucard, so the path that includes those falling bricks). Not only that, it has those things that are even worse than Medusas, some weird ghost faces that go in an erratic up and down pattern.

I have never understood why they give you sixteen health points when four hits usually kills you.

Originally in the Japanese version the damage you take depends on the enemy that hits you. They changed it in the U.S. version to progressively take more as the levels progress so by the end you die if 4 hits no matter what. There are other differences too that make the U.S. version harder. The Japanese version is much better IMO. The music sounds amazing with an extra sound chip and the difficulty is still there but it’s a bit more reasonable.

Absolutely LOVE the scream when you beat the Doppleganger. Also 5:57:57 LOL plus I cringed when you delivered the game finishing hit, but fell down the hole :O Holy Hell....... Superhuman job though! Congrats. Although don't know why you would purposely kill yourself TWICE on level 7-C when you had 2 lives left, you could've beaten the boss.

I finnished the game like 2 years ago, with the extra weapons. That waterlevel with the insane difficult birds is engraved forever in my mind. Thats how many times i did it again...😅 Amazing accomplishment Mike.
