C'est bien de pouvoir choisir un type de son avant le lancement du jeu. Perso j'aime bien le X68000 tout seul même si les 3 sons sont bons. Sympa la vidéos le tueur de vampires👍

Merci beaucoup à toi 👍 Ces synthétiseurs midi n'étaient clairement pas donné à l'époque, mais ça donnait vraiment un sacré plus aux jeux, que ça soit sur Sharp X68000 ou sur d'autres machines (jeux DOS, etc.).

@@munchmunchfr clairement le mt32 faisait rêver à l'époque tout comme l'awe32 de creative mais comme beaucoup je n'ai eu que des clones soubd blaster qui faisaient malgré tout très bien le taf 😉

@@munchmunchfr oh pareil, perso je connaissais ces appareils car je les voyais dans la liste des cartes son compatibles avec les jeux c'est tout. Je n'en avais jamais vu ni entendu avant il y a peu

The MIDI LA definitely sounds the best, at least for the rendition of Vampire Killer. The way the X68000 version holds notes sounds almost comedic, and the MIDI GS version doesn't give the main melody enough power.

Yes, I also really like the rendering of midi "LA" (MT-32/CM-32L) overall, but I do have a soft spot for certain “GS” orchestrations, for example Bloody Tear, which sounds a lot more rocky and which I really like that way. I guess it depends on individual tastes and sometimes on the pieces of music :-)
