I really needed this video, my mom and grandma had issues with uterine cancer. From what I’m getting, estrogen creams may be ok to use, I have no issues with cancer and I’m 56. I’ve tried vitamin E, and water based Lubricants but with no relief at all. I tried a few suppositories and I got a crazy yeast infection each time. I’m going to speak to my doctor about estrogen cream, because it would be nice to have my intimate life back without pain, bleeding and soreness for days, or a UTI. ❤ Lots of love to you, we need this conversation!

I wasn’t sure how it would be received. I’ve lost about 1000 subscribers since posting. I know so many women tune in for makeup and I had been off of YT for about a year for health issues. After coming back with a new look at life, even if my channel stays small… hopefully some women get some value from it. Maybe the ones that do tune in will watch the full video and help me get pushed out into YT land lol. I think makeup is fine and I love skincare but I think we should also be able to talk about the real topics we face with aging. You don’t have to suffer! I promise. I went through a pretty unremarkable menopause at 52. I’m now 68 and did not begin having discomfort until a couple of years ago. It was shocking and heartbreaking. Our tissue thins and does break down but we’re all different. It’s so good to know there are legit treatments.

I think it is either because they couldn't be bothered and are stuck in their ways or they are not educated in the treatment for peri and post menopause and the new treatments available to help us. Believe me I was told NO more than once or " there's nothing wrong with you". Then one day I was watching a talk show and the doctor that wrote this book was on and talking about all the symptoms of menopause and post menopause. It felt like a light bulb went on.. she was great. I ordered the book and never felt alone again and knew that it wasn't all in my head. I tell everyone I can about this book. Glad you are discussing this. I am curious with all the different things you use that helps. I looked at the list of items you recommended. I also dealt with menopause at 41. I am 54 right now.

I think that it’s tough when you reach menopause early. I don’t know why I reached menopause so early. At 40 I missed a period and took a pregnancy test. I had always been regular. The pregnancy test was negative and I never had another cycle. I feel like the estrogen has been #1 for thickening the tissue and the V-Magic Balm is such a favorite product. It is thick and soothing and doesn’t go away like a regular lubricant did for me. The castor oil has been new and I feel like using a castor oil pack at night is my favorite way to use it. Between everything, I have no more pain. No more redness or irritation. It is so great that we can support each other as women here and share ideas and what has helped and to let each other know we are not alone!

That has to be awful for you, I am so sorry. Have you tried seeing a urologist instead of a gynecologist? I would look for someone who specializes in menopause. There is a place in Mississippi that will do phone consultation and they specialize in this. They may order labs at a place near you to help them work with you.
