When I was a kid my grandparents had this book called animals can be almost human. It’s full of all kinds of stories about animals being compassionate I don’t remember many of them but the one I do remember is how one winter a toddler went missing in a forest and a mother wolf was literally found wrapped around the toddler to keep it warm.

There was a story a few years ago about a kid that was missing in the woods in fall/early winter, but they found the kid alive, who told rescuers that a bear kept them warm overnight. Kid was something like 4, so they might have gotten it wrong, but they lived all the same

I adore the Mr Kes story so much so i was so happy to see him cover it. One of his kids is now a dad and they tried brooding the babies like their dad. Its so sweet.

@@viroszelmire1391 yes, but hey Kronos was not the most adjusted titan himself, he also fought HIS father, cutting off his fathers balls in the process wich fell into the ocean (creating sea foam and Aphrodite)

oh my favorite was the kestrel, because he tried and ended up LEARNING how to care for the chicks just to keep them alive, a lot of people wont even try learning a new skill let alone keep doing one they are bad at

The cake thing made a memory resurface. When we were younger my brother had either stuck his finger in some frosting or just opened it and ate a bit and put it back in the pantry. When my grandma and parents found out they made him eat the container. That container was like two months expired.

Cassowaries can jump over 7 feet, can run over 30 mph and can weigh up to 200 lbs while also being 6 foot. That’s without acknowledging they’re obvious 5 inch razor sharp weapons and immense strength. I’d rather be yeeted with off a cliff by one than be stuck in the same room forshore
