Don't be afraid to leave a group of friends that you dont connect with. In middle school, i was a 'filler' friend in a group. Filler meaning i just hung out with them at school and they would always hang out without me. When high school finally came about i left them to join a band friend's group and that was the best decision I made during high school. Dont be afraid to leave, and dont be afraid to tell those friends why. Also, carry your keys in between ur knuckles so you can stab someone with them, and carry an alarm and pepper spray with you ^o^

I took two self defense classes in high school and we actually learned that it's better to just hold keys the regular way instead of in between your knuckles if you're using them for self defense.

I'm 22 going on 23. I'm still skinny but I have curves. girls bodies and looks continue to develop well into your 20s so obsessing about how you look now is useless. you may not finish growing&developing your adult body until you're in your early 20s!

What you said about school and being your own worse critic was something I really needed to hear. I go to a private college preparatory academy and everyone there is so HARDCORE about academics and sometimes it kills me bc we all compare ourselves to each other and it's just a mess. Right now I am actually not at school because I'm sick, yet I am still working??? There is so much stress for success, but hearing your advice calmed me down a bit and I am so grateful for that. Thank you for making this video and all of your videos, they are always so comforting :')

That is similar to my school although it's not private all the students are expected to get A* /A+ on all tests even topic tests. do take breaks because your mental health is really important. Although your hard work will pay off just don't stress too much.

I'm really excited for you to tell your story because I feel like I could relate to it so much and it's really comforting to know that I'm not the only one feeling like this... Especially since people all around me have constantly just said to not worry so much and don't understand
@anabotero94278 жыл бұрын
Hello! I'm a big fan of your videos and I have to say you're a pretty down to earth person and it shows with your awareness of animal cruelty and sweatshop labor in the fashion and make up world! Your advice on success was pretty spot on: I've learnt the hard way that the expectations people build up for you can be more damaging than your own expectations. We like to believe the people we love and care for, such as parents, close relatives, friends, partners, etc, but in the end, we can only be the only ones left to choose, no matter what other people had planned for you all along. I've been through a similar situation, so I can understand you perfectly. What was more scary is the fact that I never thought I would end up like this: depression, anxiety disorders and disappointment directed at me because I couldn't fit the mold. So, yes, it there are any signs of mental distress, I think people should be reaching out for the closest beloved one that could help them and, maybe, have an appointment with a professional counselor. Thank you for this video! It made me feel less alone.

i love listening to you while doing work. you have such a mellow tone to all your videos and while sometimes the other youtubers that i adore kind of have a really abrasive n disruptive feel to their humour/videos, it sort of feels like i'm listening to a good friend talk, knowing i value their words n thoughts even if whatever the topic is doesn't pertain to me at all, while they let me listen quietly n do my own thing. thanks for being so honest and sweet with your viewers, i feel like you bring such warm feelings to even people on the internet whom you don't even know at all

Well, I hope you will find people with who you can be yourself :/, I have social anxiety so making 'friends' was hard for me too ahah, buT Its only the beginning so Im sure it'll work out just fine for you, you just have to be yourself at the beginning of the friendship, this way youll know if you can become friends, if they dont seem to like this part of you then you can say goodbye to this person, what is the point in having more ''friends'' that dont like you for yourself? you do you boo, I guess xD. I go to a private all girls school and theres like an unwritten pressure on everyone to do so well in everything. A lot of my friends got straight A's and A*'s in their GCSE's and I got a mix of A-C grades. hey mei! love seeing more makeup content from you, your style is 👌💖. i have a friend who does a lot of dog research & ive learned that when people say pit bull, theyre usually referring to the american pit bull terrier. many 'bully breeds' are often mislabeled as pit bulls & pounds are especially known to incorrectly lable breeds. also, american pit bull terriers, while they can be very loving & gentle towards humans, were bred to be dog-aggressive, so you have to be careful before you get multiple dogs. 🐶
