This show rocks. I adore his character. Love how it's edited nonlinearly like Memento. And the cinematography is amazing, the reflections, and that shot of the guy jumping onto the back of the van and than in through the inside is so well done.

Glass in the shoes is an ancient ritual involving pain and humility. There's a word for it but I don't remember right now. It's like self-flagellation.

@@CasualNerdReactions ...although there are folk who might benefit from glass-in-the-shoe or chainmail t-shirt or raincoat of spikes or whatever. Yeshua knew of these horrendous practices and he was quite open to the folk about self-abuse in the name of god. Pissed off a lot of priests. There are more effective humility techniques, like hitting bottom and not dying. I am watching some Tuberz hit alcohol-infused bottoms, IN THEIR OWN CHANNEL, everyday. Perception, amiright? Maybe I shouldn't watch, it's too grim and if I comment on it I get so much hate. I got sober in '82 (New Year's Day!). I had been eating out of trash receptacles for six years. Now that's humility inducing should I so choose. Be well and walk in beauty (you don't have to burn the gasoline).

Loved this episode! So much fun. This is derived from a newer take on the character that Isn’t what I was reading in the 70s early 80s but what a pleasant surprise! Can’t wait to see where it goes. Thanks for your reaction!

I was curious how this show would be, and I am eager for more! The comic character is really interesting to me. I won’t reveal anything so as to avoid spoilers. But there are so many things that should happen, so hopefully there will be more after this first season.

Wow, this episode just dropped. You're quick. Marc/Steven must have the most severe case of forgetfulness in the history of psychiatry. Poor guy, I have a strong feeling that this series will be a much bigger tear jerker than Wandavision. Not a spoiler, my hunch is as good as anyone else. 🙂

Before I REALLY started my channel I did wandavision, waking up at 3am and releasing by 8 most mornings I was actually one of the first. I can’t quite be that fast now haha. I honestly don’t know what to expect from this, very high comedy at the start, but iba way that could thematically go any direction and I’m here for it.

@@CasualNerdReactions 3am! That's impressive. You must be one heck of a morning person. I find this episode to be exceptionally good especially for a pilot. I have a theory as to what's going on given that they referenced some symbolisms like Gus the resurrected goldfish, the Fields of Reeds as mentioned by the girl at the museum, the scarab and the scale of judgement tattoo. I think this series will be very fast paced, with major revelations as early as the 2nd or 3rd episode. Thanks for choosing to review this series. A show is always more interesting to watch when there are many different points of view. Oh, and I found my CD 🤣🤣🤣 of Misery, all ready to be played this weekend.

To be honest, I find myself a bit disappointed. I like your channel and your reactions very much. You have reacted to many movies that are great but that have slipped from the memory of many. I am not a huge comic book fan, as I grew up reading classic literature. Marvel, DC and the rest are just movies to me. There are a ton of "reactors" that jump on anything Marvel. While I fully understand the KZbin process and the fact that it's far easier to use material that has already been cleared by the AI, approved and used by others, and the rest of the limitations imposed, I find the majority of the Marvel movies lacking substance and a bit on the immature side. This is in no way intended as a criticism. As a reactor, I understand that you have a responsibility to provide content that appeals to your viewership. Just bear in mind, that providing the same content as everyone else sets no one apart. Many of your viewers watch the same content elsewhere and even leave the same comments. I wish you the best of luck with your channel and I am sure you will fare better than many others. For now, at least, I'm going to unsubcribe.

Thanks for the comment, I understand Marvel is not for everyone, but I love the MCU. The reason I don’t react to the films is because I’ve seen them many many times. My channel will feature occasional marvel content as it is incredibly enjoyable for me, but it will never be a marvel only channel. Coming up in the next 3 weeks alone we have Misery, Blade Runner, O Brother Where Art Thou, and War of the Worlds (1953). Hopefully I’ll see ya in one of those, subscribed or not. 🙂

@@CasualNerdReactions Sorry, no indeed, It was not my intent to criticize Marvel (or any franchise). They have a huge fan base that cannot be denied. Also, I would never presume or even suggest to anyone how to run their channel. Let me try to explain. At the time of my comment, there were no less than 40 reactors in a 24 hour period for this particular title. I totally get that it is popular and I understand as well that not every upload will be a personal favorite of mine; however, how many times can a person watch the same content reacted to? Personally, I have to watch something to get my own reaction before watching someone else react to it. (again just me). I subscribed to a good many reactors, but when I get 15 or more notifications on the same title at the same time, well, it just seems a bit ridiculous. I liked your channel primarily for your honest reactions (I loved the Silence of the Lambs face reaction btw) but especially because of good content not being done by every other reactor. I sincerely meant no offense to anyone, and honestly I hope your channel remains the cut above the others that it is. I apologize for any misunderstanding.
