Much easier than putting them on by hand. Fun to wrestle those thinks with two guys and some long pry bars. Think you put em on backwards tho. Check rotation direction.

I'm not sure about the rotation but they've been running fine.

Thanks man! These cost $1900 I think and are Cat brand tracks. They're 550lbs per track.

How many hours do you get out of a set of tracks?

These are Cat brand tracks and are the general duty model. Get about 800-1000 hours per set probably. The severe duty tracks are probably more in the 1300 hours per set range. Our area is very very rocky.

God's Country we are in soft clay conditions here in Minnesota, one of my 299D’s Just turned 2000 hrs with the original tracks. There still some lug left, but the inside of the track the rubber starts to get rotten and the carrier rollers ride over that and we get a very rough ride. Time for new tracks!!!
