Elite Earthworks LLC Yeah I don’t think I could’ve done that one without it. Just finished it today and my patients are shot! All rock and existing underground utilities always make the job tough. Thanks for watching buddy! 👍🏻

Nice work guys.. That's some tough digging you have there. A ripper is a great tool to help the digging go faster.

Thanks Bob. We used to carry a hammer every day but the ripper saves us from having to do that. Every now and then we still have to get the hammer.

I’ve been working I rock for 35 years, you are right that it take a lot of patients and there is also an art to it. I’ve dug a lot of blasted basements and I can say that not all blasters are good.

Fast in rock and you will loose. Patients and keeping your eyes open for a seem and you might get it. In 35 years I’m sure you’ve seen a lot and it is an art form. Thanks for watching we appreciate it Mitch 👍🏻

Those rippers would probably great for tree stumps.

What kinda money you guys get out east per foot for something like that? Ballpark

Travis Gay we don’t work by the foot, we get paid by the day. We have been working for cell tower companies for 12 years now and have a good reputation so they count on us to get as much done in a day as we possibly can. They pay us very well so it’s worth it to work hard. Thanks for watching

Do you have ANY place out there where the ground is actually dirt not a pile of rocks with a little dirt in between (1:00), or just plain solid rock ?

It’s pretty much all rock lol but sometimes we work in Delaware and Jersey were it’s all sand. Thanks for watching we appreciate it 👍🏻

@@fulltiltgrading8366 Watching you guys work in that "course grained dirt [cough]" reminds me of a job 20 years ago installing a 100 foot tilt-over wind tower for a friend. Required 5 anchor holes 3x3x4ft (4 for the tower guys and one for the tilt-over anchor). We thought no big deal just rent a small excavator. Turned out to take 2 days to dig those holes, not because we couldn't handle the machine (the machine was second nature for me even though it was my first time), but because not only was the ground friggin rock hard red clay ... ... it was full of relatively large rocks (8-12in). I feel your pain digging in that material.

Yeah you’re probably right! Just don’t have the time to deal with it. I do save a few that catch my eye and have them scattered around my property. Thanks for watching👍🏻
