@CuttingEdgeEngineering3 жыл бұрын
Hey mate thanks for watching great question. Yes it does make a difference. MIG weld usually bit more guess work trying to determine how it fits together and machining apart to suit the existing join. With friction weld (like this one) much easier to machine/part off and turn a spigot at the same time.

Hey mate a few reasons... depends on the material being cut, with the chrome induction layer I use ceramic insert so no coolant on those otherwise thermal shock and the insert shatters. The carbide inserts can be run hot/dry or flooded wet so I prefer less coolant mess and usually only run it when taking heavier cuts. Hope that helps 😎👍

Hey Sean! Thanks for saying so, the missus is loving her S10 camera much nicer close up and slow mo. That was an original CAT piston to test the thread

Well worth every moment. I'm so glad the grenade has withstood Homey's playfulness. And Sneeker sends two paws way up.

Hey Sneeker and human! We are glad you enjoyed watching me, that chair was a challenge but couldn't beat me in the end. Now to continue trying to dismantle this grenade. 🐾🤣

Top work as usual mate!!! Nice to see it's not just my dog that's thicker then a whale omelette... Many years ago we had a Staffy Bull Terrier, near as damn it same breed as Homeless, he was unquestionably faithful and loyal family member but a bit dense. We had a lower door panel damaged so it was missing for a few hours whilst I got a replacement but he still wanted the door opening for him rather than just stepping through the massive hole he'd just stuck his head through... 🤣🤣🤣 My three year old daughter loves watching your channel with me, I get to see engineering work, she gets to see Homeless, win win for both of us!!! 👍👍👍

@@CuttingEdgeEngineering Thanks a bunch mate. I always appreciate you coming back to me on my comments. I have my own channel where I pour pure silver making all kinds of things and can appreciate how much time it takes to answer a bunch of folks and keep the comments individual to the ones that make the comment. Stop by if you like. It would be great to have either of you come and visit. Take care now eh !

The best thing to watch on KZbin. The dog always hits his mark with no messing up. All though Kurt's on the other hand is the Plucky comic relief. No just kidding he is very good at what he does. I wish I could do that. Keep it up I enjoy watching your channel. Oh by the way I'm still waiting for a hat. Ha ha
