Cat falls from three-story building - Why did he leap? || ViralHog

(Contact [e-mail] for licensing/usage info.) George spotted this cat at work and started filming before the cat lost his grip and fell from around the third story of the building.
For one reason or another, the cat is moving through a hole in the wall from the rooftop. Rather than going back through the hole and safety of the roof, the cat elects to try and scale the side of the building. As it desperately tries to cling to the side of the building, it suddenly loses its grip and plummets to the ground.
However, despite the huge drop, it jumps straight up after hitting the concrete ground, and immediately flees from another cat. Talk about nine lives!

Yeah, except this is a cat. Many factors keep them from harm, such as their speed in righting themselves, their ability to extend their legs to become a natural parachute (reduces max. velocity to about half that of a human), a very lightweight frame, and joints that absorb shock from the fall incredibly well. A fit cat like the one in this video wouldn't have been hurt, it would have just been Tuesday.
