I lost a 17 year old cat a few years ago and I know I'll never get over it. The pain will always be there, but you eventually get used to it, your new "normal". Jax lives on thru your spirit. I know you'll never forget him and he will never forget you. When you one day get to the pearly gates, there will be a cat named Jax there waiting for you.

I lost one of my girls last December. She was "daddy's girl" and I lost daddy in 2017. The pain comes and goes still. Don't ever apologize for the love and heartache you are feeling. Many of us will need a shoulder to cry on at some point in life. I don't think it was a coincidence that you found yourself on that bridge. I believe that was little Jax letting you know, he loves you, & he too is so grateful to have been with you & misses you too.
