The WB is the quietest 5.56 suppressor I've heard. Like the Hux is great but it just sounds like a quieter unsuppressed shot. The WB has no back pressure like the Hux but also has a significantly more pleasant tone, and apparently there's a full sized WB planned. I'm going to weight, and sound as priorities as it's going on a CQB setup for home defense, and I'm disabled so the weight is important. If I ever needed to use it, I don't want my whole family to also go deaf hence the need for a can in the first place. Curious to know if the Helios QDTI is able to fit some of those shorter rearden MD's without the hub extension? Got a buddy who ended up just DT'ing his. Even considered going with the Diligent Defense Zilch to get the muzzle closer to the outer annulus vent so it would utilize it more. But even still, its actually a pretty awesome sounding can imo. I have another friend with a LH thread Ti version of the WB...its literally 6oz without the mount, freakin nuts. Their muzzle devices weigh just under 2.5 to 3oz i think? Honestly, After messing with it, I think thats what i'm switching to since CAT does make LH HUB mounts for MD's. The LH thread is so much better and its SECURE, plus no threat of untorqing the MD on removal and no worry about the fine threads getting messed up like on plan b pattern MD's. Still great mounting pattern though, especially from Rearden. One thing I'd like to share about ejection pattern that i've found, is that the shape of the shell deflector does change the ejection pattern, so I only really refer to that for guesses on carrier velocity when I'm working with a standard pattern deflectors. I have some VLTOR MURS that eject really far forward but they aren't actually as overgassed as you'd presume based on that pattern. Thanks for sharing your experience sir!

@AimAllies6 ай бұрын
Definitely not a dumb question man. Hub is a fairly universal threading with a few options to screw into the back of the suppressor. Usually you pick a brand / system to go with (I like rearden / plan b) and buy the rear mount (the atlas by rearden) and one of their muzzle devices to put on the firearm. Then you can screw the suppressor directly into the muzzle device and swap between firearms while Still having a muzzle device on the gun with no suppressor! They also have taper lock which tends to stay tight much better than direct thread.

Welcome to the golden age of suppressor tech! The NOAH is quite a bit heavier if that’s what you’re referring to, so depends on your application. The radical suppressors also look impressive to me.

ive got an alleycat 7.62 on the way, basically an odb, that should work fine on 5.56 right?

Great video. I'm just getting started with supressors and not a whole lot of channels out there talking about supressors other than huxwrx. Nice to see folks like you showing us other options and talking about them.

Any other brands you’d like to see me check out?? Thanks for watching.

@AimAllies maybe some more affordable options. All of the supressors I have now (except .22 cal) were over $1000. With the rising cost of supressors its hard to root out the cheaper options that are either good or aren't. Channels like yours could help. Especially with the growing popularity.

You should give the CAT adapter a try. I find their 1x16LH superior to Rearden but that’s just my experience.

At this point I am pretty committed to the hub system but it does look like a great option for the public!
