Great show! Just noticed, that Taylor is TRAVELING! She is traveling everywhere - all at once! You guys are near Annapolis, MD - so Taylor is there. She just uploaded eps from her boat from south Florida (Miami), she has been on Delos for a while and just left The Dark Side a few weeks ago (YT time, anyway). Anymore traveling and Taylor will travel, through space AND time, like a Time Lord 0.o Great show! Fair winds!

I'm also impressed by Taylor being there to lend a hand, she paying it forward.. In the 80s I so wanted to build a Cat from plans but life got in the way. Now I'm too old with issues. @Neilhuny3 жыл бұрын
I've seen lots of (crazy) definitions of that 'break a leg' phrase but I am convinced it refers to the side curtains on a stage (or legs) when an actor is taking several encores, moving on and off stage, causing the legs to break when he/she moves in and out of the audience view

@@ernie7065 How does the date filmed change the story? There seems to be one of you in every crowd.
@ernie70653 жыл бұрын
@@pavichapin I'm not sure what "one of you" was intended to convey? Stating an opinion or asking a question does not mean criticism.... it may simply mean the time line of the vlogs are somewhat confusing. OK? I am 83, retired for 25 years, and an active rv'er with 135,000 miles on my rv. I bought a GoPro 9 with attachments. Took a 23 day rv trip... never filmed a minute. Too much fun and no need to create a vlog to sustain my life or travels. Been to most places these people are traveling.... often wonder if their vlog efforts are worth the work they put into it.
@Einungbrekke3 жыл бұрын
@@ernie7065 I think one of the aspects of not telling when something is filmed, is that fans and others can't figure out where they are or when they will be on the next location. That makes a lot of sense. Many of the sailing channels have a lot of viewers and it would be hard to film if you have fans coming up to you all the time.
@rickemmet11043 жыл бұрын
You guys now have a few very large pieces that will take a good deal of time, just to put in place, and then laminate into the structure. But then all the little pieces will practically fly off the stack and into the boat. Things are really coming together. Watching this process should embolden a lot of people to purchase a kit themselves. Great work guys!

You guys might want to think about hiring a ship's container to store these components and place them in the container in the order you need them in the build. If you suffer a heavy-duty American storm, many of these fiber-glass pieces might end up being blown out to sea.
@MJSailing3 жыл бұрын
Having only rented the tent space from the marina, we feel it would be asking too much of the owner to also let us keep a 40 ft storage container on the grounds. That would be a loss of $$ for him this fall/winter when he isn't able to use that space to store boats ( it gets very full here). Plus, we expect those large pieces to be attached by late November, so they only have to sit out there for a few months, strapped down under a tarp. 😉

Well done guys. Suggestion - Can you use the inside of the tent frame to setup a crane gantry system? It would help a lot with those big pieces. Just use two poles, one down each side of the tent (like the heaters) then a pole across on wheels to slide along. Hope that makes sense

Because my son and I are in the business, I suggest you rent a 40 ft. Hi-Cube storage container, same as the delivery container. It would sit on the ground and provide shelter and security for your next phase components. Rental in WNC would be $100-125 per month plus delivery and pickup.
@MJSailing3 жыл бұрын
When we first rented the tent in the fall we asked the owner about keeping one of the containers here to use as storage, but unfortunately there's just no extra room. Come mid October, any empty space you see in that yard will be full of boats hauled out for the winter.
