Fly bridge looks large, probably the best place to be on passage.

Love it. This is exactly what I’ll be looking for next summer! I’ll be in touch. Great video and showing as usual.

That's a beautiful boat. How do these Leopard 45 sail compared to other charter cats?
@billregan19812 ай бұрын
The Leopards are amongst the best sailing cats of the boats that have a strong charter presence as well. With any of the cruising cats you can make them sail much better with folding props, Code 0 sail and of course a clean bottom. The Leopards have a large mainsail for good upwind performance and hills that are narrower below the waterline for less wetted surface.

@@billregan1981 I'm leaning towards a L44 or L45. The 44 looks sleeker and is designed by M&M, but it seems they demand a relatively higher price considering age difference for some reason. Coming from a Farrier tri, it's going to be hard to give up such exceptional performance but I'm much older now and need more comfort. Also limited to 45 ft max due to my mooring. I'd at least want to be faster than the Lagoons. I need to get on a L45.

Would you say it would be possible to shorthand sail this beautiful boat?
@billregan19812 ай бұрын
Absolutely! The Leopards are set up with one person operation in mind. Helm station that has all the controls, including all running rigging. Very maneuverable and easy access to the side deck with good sight lines for docking.

Everything great except the freshwater heads, but thats easy to replace. What group wants to run the watermaker every single day just to flush their pee? I guess not so bad if you're just a cruising couple or a solo sailor. awesome feature for a daysailor if you're filling up freshwater at the dock every day. less smell and cuts down on maintenance for sure.

780L water tanks, geez how many times do you pee a day? 😂

@@Frog13799 hahaha alot ok!!! but seriously theres not alot of spots to fill freshwater in the tuamotus, or any other remote islands. Fresh Water is a precious commodity and try to use seawater as much as possible even for washing dishes. I'd never waste freshwater on something like the head. Unless its a daysailor
@Frog13799Ай бұрын
@@DanZucker it actually works out pretty well, you need to run the generator on long sailing passages every few days to charge batteries, make water then, the watermaker is happy if used regularly, on anchor you will probably run the generator for a/c anyway, at least for some of the day. In my experience delivering Leopards, showers are the big water user, on a charter with 8 land orientated guests on board that watermaker and A/C will run flat out.
