Whoever built that bridge is a genius. Thank you for showing us around even if this was 2 years ago. It has been giving us a lot of information before we check these falls out

TENNESSEE and KENTUCKY have the NICEST people you will ever want to meet. Very helpful and will feed you great country cooking and give the shirt off their backs. So I never want to hear ANYONE making fun of Kentucky., and Tennessee...💕 Both states have breathtaking mountains and Waterfalls...

I've been to the smokies many times but never hiked to the falls. Last May I was there for the first time in 10 years. My grandson and I decided to climb to see laurel falls. I dont exercise so I only made it a short way. I was so out of breath I could not believe it, I was afraid I would have a heart attack if I kept going. Thank you for showing this video. I've finally been to laurel falls. I'm almost 72. I'm sure this is as close as I will ever get. Thanks again.

At 11:43 is when u typically see a hillside washout. Very lucky no landslide to be swept away in. It happens , ground becomes unstable with no warning

Beautiful footage! I don't think you realize how those "creeks" (that you ended-up wading thru on your way back) could have become a "FLASH Flood" in an instant....trapping you & your family. A word to the wise: during your travels, pay attention to the local "watch"; when it turns to a "warning", no matter what it is ~ DON'T do it (unless you're an adrenaline junkie who is suicidal). Please be careful, these adventures can turn into a tragedy in an instant! Thank you for the beautiful film footage of the Great Smokey Mountains during a time of flash-flooding!

What a wonderful thing to see Laurel Falls in flood! Looks like a lot of fun. Wish I could be there in person! Be properly careful around so much fast moving water. It can undercut trail beds and bridges before you know it. Thank you so, so much for sharing this experience.

Well as the robot on Lost in Space used to say danger danger danger. . That waterfalls is dangerous. . Been there so many times. I can't even count how many times? Will your gentleman for helping the ladies across. I had one of my closest bear encounters on Laurel Falls Trail once. And I mean it was closed. Get dry. All the rains out of here for right now in, North Carolina. At least until tomorrow.
