Thank you so much for providing these videos to us Cat... I got this book last December and I have started and re-started a sock (eventually with help from women in my knit-night group who have attended your seminars). Today I frogged back and came to the video to restart. It was like having you right here to tutor me as I went along (watch video, pause it, knit, rinse and repeat)... so much easier than I was making it! Bless you!

Dear Cat, You're a brilliant teacher and such an innovative designer, but for me the thing that makes you stand out is that you are so obviously having so much fun! Thank you! Heather

Cat you are a first rate teacher. I bought the E-book of the Sweet Tomato Heel. The STH is so easy to follow along with and there aren't any complicated stitches. Just excellent.

How can anyone let it be to let a like in here? Knitting becomes so easy when you explain! l never wrote this but now l do: l LOVE the way you invite us knitting and lovin' to wait for the next that is coming from you! Here in Germany they say native teacher for languages, you're a native knitter and knitting teacher and l send you blessings from the LORD! You're great and nice to listen to! l'm handicapped and can't knit as l want so l often take on my right side of the knitting cable a hook and the other side a needle for knitting, so the stitches cannot run away my hands can't stay still, they always flatter as if l was cold but l'm not! With your instructions l found the mood and power to start again nevertheless of all my handicaps. Thank you for my new hope! Be blessed! Yours, Me

Cat - You are a genius! Just had my knit shop special order a rush on the book (I am loyal to my shop - "Little Lamb and Ewe" in Gresham Oregon) I cannot believe how fast I received the book and it is fantastic! I would love to see you do a pattern where you can replace the whole sole of the sock. You have an excellent way of teaching that is easy to understand and very logical in thinking. I love your patterns and talent

Laurrie Sobie here - I have your books and ran into a sketch of a GARTER TOE. INTERESTING! I have never seen this, and I AM going to use it. I think others would be very interested in this technique - just for a interesting 'break. I have a friend who knits better than I. I am making a pair of socks using THIS toe for her. She will have a pair of socks like no one else. it will allow her to be able to correct me and tell me how it SHOULD HAVE BEEN. I think it's a HOOT! We have basically the same size foot, so I will see how I like it. So far it is fitting nicely and is soft and comfortable. We run in Agility with our dogs and the socks get a lot of hard wear. This toe should be extra comfy.

Judy Becker is in good hands with you, Cat. Perhaps I'll get up the nerve to do a sock - if that turns out, I might get two socks. ;-) Thank you!

Thank you for all your wonderful videos, books and helpful notes. It has helped me so much since I started knitting. But I have one question. What yarn are you using in this video. It's gorgeus!

I believe she's referring to her book "Personal Footprints for Souciant Sock Knitters". This is out of print but but her website lists it available as an e book.
