Can someone tell why...when you are fishing for trout...the bobber/cork is called a strike indicator? I’m from MS, but one of the first times I went fly fishing for trout (I was in Colorado), my guide gave me one of those “you’re an idiot” looks when I called it a cork. I realized then fly fishing for trout wasn’t for me🙃

To legally catch a fish it Has to be hooked in the mouth because if it took it in the fin or the girls it’s not intentional because the fish didn’t try and eat the bait but if it takes the bait then it is legal
