It varies and I dont measure it but a sprinkling before forming the balls definitely helps. It’s one of those things I just do by eye and experience really and hard to explain.

Okay...5 days ago this was supposedly posted... it's been absolutely pissing it down for nearly 3 weeks... You have blue sky in the back drop.? Also... The Avon is up by at least 2 foot....Still cloudy as hell and yet this video shows us a gentle current and clear water ....... so where in the World is this ' Avon' You are at ? Actually I was on parts of it today having a look, and it's still raging through and cloudy.
